Interestingly, in this poll, she won the debate by 48-43, BUT it did not sway too many people (only 5% said they changed their mind and most actually moved towards Trump)

Those same qualities gave Obama the win in 2012? If you go back and listen to his campaign speeches, many a time he could have passed for a conservative, for someone who believed in personal responsibility and responsible leadership. He like all pols, say what they know resonates with the electorate, and when they get elected, they throw it all out with the trash. I can remember listening a few times to BO’s campaign appearances early in 2008, and if you didn’t know better, you’d think he was running as a republican. Oh, he was a smooth slicker. But I don’t put Trump at all in the Obama camp, and there’s no way Obama was ever suited to be President, and especially not on caring about people like me!
Trump left a couple of things on the table last night. Its ammo for debate #2.
Unless Hillary can do much better Trump is the next President.

They are rating Hillary high for vapid sound bites that actually didn’t say anything useful because they were delivered well. She never drew blood and he drew blood several times while never really breaking out any of the ammo he has stored up.

Regarding “winning” a debate: It’s possible to “win” the debate and lose the election. Like winning the battle and losing the war.
I don’t care at all about whether a person scored technical points in a debate. I care about whether they got their point across to the listeners, whether they were honest and believable.
I don’t think Trump did particularly well, but I thought Hitlery was awful. And considering Trump had to debate both Hitler, and Holt (and by proxy the entire media machine), it was not too bad. I do wish he had been a little more prepared. For one thing, he needs to learn to NOT be defensive. That’s a liberal tactic to deflect attention away from their own YUGE faults and on to someone else’s minor flaws. Answer briefly - or even admit guilt on a small point - them move on and drop the hammer on Hitlery’s gigantic criminal flaws. Stay on the attack. Stay off of defense.

That’s untrue. Trump took her to task for deliberately setting up her private server, and the fact that her staff are pleading the 5th in the investigations.

Yea, she brought up a lot of things that Trump has already hammered home - repeatedly.
Even this poll has too many democrats and females. I understand they had to move quickly, but they could have randomly selected the proper numbers in pretty short order.
It must be to the point now that even if she told the truth (by some miracle) nobody would believe her.
