The Commission on Presidential Debates reported on Friday that there were in fact issues with Donald Trump’s microphone at the Debate Monday evening at Hofstra university in New York.
Following the debate, Trump told the press that they “gave me a defective mic. Did you notice that? My mic was defective within the room,” CNN reports. Trump posed the question: “Was that on purpose?”
While it may be too early to call it anything other than a technical malfunction, the Commission on Presidential Debates said “there were issues regarding Donald Trump’s audio that affected the sound level in the debate hall.”

Next debate, he should wait till almost ready to start and then ask if he can switch with Hillary. Won’t do any good but what the heck.

No, IMHO this was done on purpose! I do this for a living.
They had the gain cranked high on the Lavelier mic. The other thing that often happens is that the mic is set to low and picks up sound from the chest cavity.
Any half wit sets a lavaliere Mic gain TO the presenter then sets the volume at the mixer with the Lecturn Mic.
IMHO this was sabotage. The mystery man taking gear out of Hillary’s Lecturn afterwords only reinforces that

I would have quadruple checked them. Then verified the settings backstage after they were put on the Speaker with the person(s) running the sound board (Mixer)

Lately, he has become very accurate and prescient...
Over drive the gain on a lavaliere Mic and it clips the audio signal. It makes any tone that is over driven very raspy and cuts out. Exactly like Trump sounded.
They covered up the mic cutting out by mixing in the Lecturn Mic

Now, that is just brilliant; who was allowing someone from the Clinton campaign to “hang around” the debate podium before the debate began?? Why weren’t the Trump people allowed to have one of their staffers “hang around” the debate podium? What else did this individual do asides from “fix” Trump’s microphone?

Mr. Trump has a strategy that arcs over the whole of the three debates. He did what he intended to do in the first debate. If it would have helped him to challenge the set, he would have. Gotta trust Mr. Trump. He has a very smart brain.
