According to a focus group put together by longtime pollster Frank Luntz, Republican vice presidential candidate Mike Pence overwhelmingly won the debate against rival Democrat Tim Kaine in Farmville, Virginia Tuesday night.

But it's easier for him, now, than the first debate was. All he really has to do is look more Presidential than Hillary and hammer her on financial corruption and national security incompetence. If she brings up personal issues, just wave his hand and say "You and your tabloid rumors again," and get back to pounding the Clinton Foundation and the implied sale of the Secretary of State's office to foreign donors. Hillary will be trying so hard to land a knockout blow that she will look just like Kaine last night.

You might want to reread the article. It's not common sense at all. It's a simple math error. You're right, the exact ratio is 5.5 to 1. The article, though, stated that the ratio was 3 to 1, not 5 to 1. (I'm not certain that's a number he used or one that was from the article's author.)
Kain looks acts and sounds just like the creepy/scary clown character straight out of Steven King!
Some talented Freeport needs to copy the crazed picture of Kain with his face and hands up against the window on DRUDGE and place the caption inside the picure below with the caption:

I went through the Luntz tweets. I think the 3:1 was Katie’s error. Of course, she said more than 3 to 1 and 5.5 is more than 3.

Frankly, Timmy demolished himself.
He didn’t need any help from the Moronator, nor from Pence.
His constant rude cocky ignorant interruptions of Pence’s cool calm measured and accurate responses did him in quickly.
Now I wish that Trump could follow Pence’s lead, and not let Hitlery distract him in the next debate.

Allrighty then. You won’t take his word he is a paid shill, so nothing I can present will change your mind.
I have no emotional investment in these snap polls or especially a Luntz focus group.
That being said, I’ll take it.
Traditionally, VP selections are the attack dogs on a campaign. Since Hillary Clinton is floundering and can’t break out over Trump, they are getting desperate.
They sent Kaine out to be a pit bull. He did as ordered. It blew up in their face.
Now it reflects on Hillary Clinton.
