Senator Portman of OH had a good lead in the polls. He came out with a smug statement that he supports Pence but couldn't support Trump. This is Senator Portman who got to DC and his first thing was to get the ball rolling on gay marriage "out of respect for his son". Yup, he cares more about what Trump said 11 years ago than what his son does instead of having a normal relationship.
Portman's website and Facebook page are AFIIRE with posts from disgusted former supporters who will not vote for him any more.

THIS IS HILARIOUS: OH Senator Portman is getting SLAMMED on his FB page faster than the comments can be deleated. He very smugly (on his strong lead) said he supports Pence but not Trump. FWIW, Deplorables have said the *ell with him keeping the Senate seat and won't vote for him.
Here's the funny part: His opponent, Strickland has a new ad. First, it criticizes Portman for supporting Trump. Then, it says that he didn't keep to his commitment, so why would anyone want to vote for him when he can't make up his mind about endorsing Trump?
Senator Strickland will most probably be pro US jobs for US workers and anti-warmongering. It's better than enabling a member of the coup attempt!
