There are many good conservatives who are Never-Trumpers, and there are many good conservatives who will vote for Donald Trump. Eight months ago, I warned that conservatives must resist gratuitous hatred or they will destroy themselves more effectively than the left ever could on its own.
I used the term "gratuitous hatred" because it is the term Jews and Judaism use to describe the reason for one of the greatest calamities of Jewish history: the destruction of the Second Temple and the second Jewish state. It wasn't the Romans who Jewish tradition blames; it was the Jews themselves -- for hating one another for no good reason.

As the New Testament puts it, when we are angry we give a mighty foothold to the devil.
The sad lessons that are seen in how the Jews wrecked themselves that way, are apparently often not heeded in Christendom.

No there’s not.
Could you elaborate on the connection between the two sentences as one might conclude the Jews didn’t get angry enough?
Those who are still furious at Ted Cruz and his supporters should read this article.
The Jews sold one another out, basically, by loving one another too little, looking for their own individual private advantage.
When it was crunch time, the Jews were not as united as they could have been.
I mean, far often they got angry at the wrong people. Personal, petty grudges were entertained.
Some curious theology often goes along with this. Like God will curse America for using its vote privilege (by which time there is a binary choice) to attempt to choose the candidate that is easiest for Christians to work with.
God will forgive myriads of mistakes, but plain old bull headedness He runs out of patience with.
Certainly both groups should read this.
Foremost, I regret the persecution the Jews have been suffering at the hands of Islam and secularists in Western Europe.
Unfortunately, US Jews en masse have not embraced the conservative politics that would otherwise benefit them and the Country. Perhaps there’s a biblical rationale for the separation.
Israel certainly defends herself thankfully with the unequivocal US support (despite the counteractions of Obama et al.)
Prager on this and more talking to Laura Ingraham.

The phrase ‘pro-Trump Christians” seems redundant to me.
It’s impossible to imagine a Christian who is NOT pro-Trump.
The Donald’s opponent is definitely an advocate for The Dark Side.
If you’re a Christian, you MUST cast a ballot for Trump or spend your future years in the gulag courtesy of the Left’s Thought Police.
Dennis Prager’s defense of Christians for Trump is welcome, albeit he continues feeding reasons to the lions to eat the Christians and Trump in the political arena. Prager writes “there is no defense of Trump’s comments or alleged sexual misbehavior”. But there is.
As stated by many rhetoric and oratory experts, Trump’s seemingly insulting comments to other Republican candidates were borrowed from the Roman orator Cicero, mainly to make a point about politically correct speech codes. Google: “Trump and Political Circuses are Nothing New” by Robert Garland, a classics professor.
His infamous “Access Hollywood” video tape must be placed within the context that Trump was an actor on a live Reality TV show where there was no script and actors were expected to say outlandish things for ratings.
Would we judge actor Ronald Reagan for any thing he said in the movie “Bedtime for Bonzo?”
Or would we judge actor and former California governor on his line in the movie “Conan and the Barbarian: “Conan, what is best in life? Answer: “To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women”.
Prager intentionally and continuously ignores context when it comes to Trump and interprets everything he says literally and at face value when they are not used that way. Why? The only explanation I can fathom is that he wants to feed Trump and his Christian backers to the lions? Who knows why?
And what misbehavior? That Trump offered to pay a widow four times the market value for a rooming house on commercial zoned land she owned and lifetime occupancy in one of his luxury condos for a purely voluntary sale of her property (no eminent domain) for a parking lot adjacent to one of his casinos? I thought Jews and Christians were supposed to care for widows? Why hasn’t Prager pointed that out?
With friends like Prager, why does Trump need enemies?
For the life of me, I cannot understand how any believing, practicing Christian could vote for ANY Democrat, much less Hitlery the Harridan!
Read the 2016 Democrat Party Platform, and then tell me how a believing, practicing Christian could support it!
