Rasmussen: White House Watch Trump up 43-40
Rasmussen Reports ^

It’s too early to measure the impact of last night’s final presidential debate, but Republican Donald Trump now has a three-point lead nationally on Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton.

I wish Trump would break 50%. I would start to feel a sense of relief.

If he stays on message for these last few days he'll reach it. Hillary's camp has fired just about everything at him and he's still standing. I believe Americans see that as a sign of strength. Trump is an Alpha Male, a true leader, and voters know it.

Wikileaks. Dems say, “pay no attention to that water stain on the ceiling”, as the plaster caves in on them.

If you look most of the move is for Hillary and it is down. She was low forties now she is 40 even. WikiLeaks/ProjectVeritas kicking in?

That may be part of the reason, but I think a bigger part is simply Trump proving himself to be Presidential. As he's proves that more and more people will feel comfortable with him.

It’s too early to measure the impact of last night’s final presidential debate, but once our media campaign is through you will believe that 99 out of 100 people believe that Clinton won the debate, and so do you.

Now concentrate on the watch. Listen to us and do as you are told. Listen to us and do as you are told. Listen to us and do as you are told. Do as you are told. Do as you are told.

It's probably lower that that, but "rounding up"...40% doesn't sound as bad as "30s".

In 1980, they preserved the fiction of a Carter win right up until the final weekend. Then they reported a "Reagan surge" in the final days, which is utter BS. That many people don't just flip their vote on the very last day or so. It was just the pollsters realizing they better start reflecting the reality of the situation.

They were allowed to get away with it as with pollsters, they are only really judged on their "final" poll. So Rasmussen (and others) could have this a horse race right until the end and then show Trump +5 on the last day - so long as their final poll is somewhat close, they will be considered accurate and reliable for future election cycles.

Nobody remembers that the pollsters had Carter with a double digit lead over Reagan through most of October 1980!

The interesting thing to me is Trump is that Trump’s numbers are relatively consistent, but the Beast’s numbers range from almost 50% all the way down to almost 40%.

That tells me that while Hillary MAY be in the lead right now, her support is very fluid and could erode again before election day.

This isn’t over yet.

Also, weren’t the media quite positive that Reagan would start a world war? The end of the world, etc.
