The Chris Plante Show is expanding!
Westwood One announced Tuesday it will launch The Chris Plante Show to radio stations nationwide starting Monday, January 2, 2017.
A third-generation media pro, Plante began his radio career at WMAL in 2005 after 17 years inside the Washington bureau at CNN, where he moved up the ranks from researcher and assignment editor to Pentagon correspondent. During his tenure at CNN, he crisscrossed the globe, covering events from Viet Nam and Albania to Jakarta. He was the director of the U.S. television network pool operations in Saudi Arabia for three months following Saddam Husseins 1990 invasion of Kuwait.
Listening to him now on the internet. Hope a local affiliate picks him up.
He is absolutely in the same league as Rush Limbaugh. Great wit; intelligent
Chris studies history and does not the liberals revise history when they call in. He acknowledges Trump’s imperfections while wholeheartedly supporting him.
Best talk show on radio bar none
Great! I travel to DC a lot and listen to him on WMAL. He’s kind of like the talk show version of Donald Trump; unapologetic, sarcastic, outspoken and a consummate smartass.
I love this man! Great debater and excellent presenter of our cause
He’s the next Rush! One thing he doesn’t do....football talk!!!!
WMAL is my local station and I listen to Chris on my drive in —oh my, I adore this man!!! On from 9-12 Eastern time and I know you can listen at wmal.com and also on I Heart Radio. I know that’s early for the west coasties, not sure if it’s on somewhere where there’s a delays.....
He’s great! such a breath of fresh air!
Pat
I’m on the west coast and listen to him at 6 in the morning on the WMAL app. He has a great sense of humor and is on to the “corrupt” press!
You can listen to him 9am-12 eastern time anywhere on tunein radio (search: wmal 630 tunein). Informed, quick-wit, sarcastic.
“he hehe he he hehe he”
“I’m making quotation marks with my fingers.”
“They love their colons over at the New York Times.”
The guy is in 5th gear 6000 RPM all the time. Works callers in seamlessly like NO OTHER TALK SHOW HOST.
“I’ve had it up to here, I’m holding my hand flat across the middle of my forehead.”
“We’re saluting you for your service.”
“I was this close to _______, I’m holding my thumb and forefinger a quarter-inch apart.”
When he’s saying those, he actually IS doing those things in the studio, it’s quite humorous. He also does the show standing up with a handful on notes and one of those boom mics. He’d be great on a webcast.
“Media Circle Fest”
“Heads up their rectal aperture”
“The government and media together in a well-lubricated sleeping bag”
Arguing with a liberal (they just keep talking over you) is like:
“Chasing a squirrel around the backyard with a tennis racket”
“A super bouncing around at zero G”
And let’s not forget the all-time classic, regard our ROP terrorist friends
“Pit-dwelling, blood-soaked, sharp-toothed, murder monkeys and troglodytes from medieval Hell”
He’s my favorite but I wish he had better things to say about DJT
