A number of Catholic leaders in Syria issued a statement pleading with the U.S. and other Western governments to stop supporting rebel groups.
Published in Catholic World Report, the statement, attributed to Archbishop Jean Clement, the Melike Catholic leader in Aleppo, read: “Please help us to pull our country back from the abyss of the fundamentalist regime in which they are trying to immerse us. “Just stop selling arms to the terrorists,” begged Father Mtanios Haddad, a Melkite now serving in Rome. Haddad said three crucial actions are needed:
Stopping the flow of arms from the U.S. to the terrorists
Stopping the flow of money from Saudi Arabia which funds the terrorists
Closing the border with Turkey through which the terrorists reach Syria.

What? Christians who are gullible enough to think the Islamist Obama Regime could be convinced to stop their long-term policy of advancing jihad? Ain’t gonna happen. If Hillary is elected, such support will expand big time.

Funny, I don’t hear of Syrian Christians screaming for Putin to stop what he’s doing.

This put to lie the Obama claim that we are supporting ‘moderate” rebels. We are supporting the most vicious, violent terrorist muslims there are and they are much, much worse than the Assad regime. I have no idea why we are involved in any of this Syrian stuff - we have no dog in this fight.
And if Hillary wins, expect her to start persecuting Christians in America to a much more alarming rate and degree than Obama ever considered.
They are supporting Islam with the expressed intent of destroying Christianity.
I doubt the Russian Orthodox Church would be pleased if they thought Putin was messing with the Syrian Christians. The ties Russia has to Syriac Christianity are real, and I believe he will act in their interest.

One must realize that Christians were protected in Assad’s Syria. The battle in Syria is simply that Assad is a Shia ( Persian) Muslim while ISIS (and Obama’s father) are Sunni (Arab) Muslim. This is the battle for power within Islam since the death of Mohammed. It is a family feud for control of the faith. Another note of mention is the leader Saladin was also a Shia Muslim. This angst is well portrayed in the movie Kingdom of Heaven in the scene in his tent during the siege. A family feud since 712? AD., over 1300yrs. Talk about Hatfield’s and McCoy’s!
The seriousness of the issue is these players truly seek world dominion!
They get it. It’s Assad or fundamentalist Sharia loving Muslims. The West has staked its choice to destroy what’s left of Christianity in the ME all the while denying their ability to flee to the West. Our reckoning is coming.
Why are we sitting back and allowing Obama and the democrats to supply moslem insurgents in an internal fight with the government of Syria? Is it because they are crazy muslims who adhere to the strict interpertation of the koran? Is it because Obama is a muslim and a sympathizer?
At any rate, we do not have the right to interfere in the internal politics of a sovereign country. I really hope Trump wins because Hillary will continue doing what Obama started.

Hillary is the worst prospect yet. Thankfully, she hasn’t won yet and has one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel.
