After Action Report Tim Kaine Tucson Rally on 11/03/2016

It was uncharacteristically chilly as I headed for Tim Kaine’s Tucson “get out the vote” rally Thursday afternoon. I expected 10 or 20 people since it was raining and Kaine’s last rally had 30 but wondered about a leaked email I’d recently seen from the Arizona DNC asking loyal Arizona Democrats to host out of state activists in their homes. While the activists were here doing their dirty work, would they take some time off to balloon Kaine’s rally population? Perhaps so because there were hundreds of rally attendees.

I was late due to unavoidable circumstances and it was 15 minutes to rally time when I got there and parked across the street. The rain stopped. A policeman working traffic asked me to wait to cross. Well, what do you know, it was the Kaine Convoy with staff and press! I held up my large sign (made to be read by traffic) “BILL CLINTON IS A RAPIST” as they passed right by me. Great!

I crossed the street and went past a large group of chanting water activists with a megaphone. I couldn’t really tell what their deal was except they wanted to save some water. Further down I saw a small group of anti-Hillary Clinton activists with signs. Very good. They had arrived early and held up their signs to everyone going in. I joined them and we called out to various cars passing by slowly and people walking in.

“Bill Clinton is a rapist,” I called out to a man walking in.
“Hooray, I love that Bill Clinton is a rapist,” the man called back with power fist raised.
“You love that Bill Clinton is a rapist?” I asked.
“Yes! I hope he rapes you!”

Well, I certainly disagreed with that sentiment so I just shook my head as he went out of hearing range. We had quite a few supporters; one man leaned out his car window, pointed at my sign and said “everybody knows that!” Clinton supporters usually just vomited expletives out their car window. F-bombs were quite popular with the Clinton supporters with some other profanity sprinkled in now and again.

One Trump supporter named Andrew had a sign “Legal Emigrants for Trump” and explained he grew up in a Communist country where people would wait in line all night and half the day just to get food while the “news” would talk about how great the economy was with plentiful food supplies. In that country no protests were allowed. Andrew’s wife and daughter had “Women for Trump” signs. Andrew also revealed to me he had the famous Bill Clinton Rapist T shirt on and a poster folded up. He invited me to sneak in to the gym with him but my sign had a large pole and my plan was different. Andrew went in.

I went up to the main street corner to implement my plan. I held my large sign up to all traffic and it was a busy night! The back of the sign said “Hillary Clinton For Prison 2016” so in case I was facing any particular direction other cars could still see a sign. I got many honks and waves along with a few f-bombs sprinkled in. I did get some funny ones; several Clinton supporters yelled “So is Trump!” at my “BILL CLINTON IS A RAPIST” sign. Just wow. One said “And Trump is the Devil!” Well, more original than just an f-bomb. Good job, lady! But I think you are confused as to who the real Devil is. A lot of people took cell pics.

Andrew came back to report he was able to yell “Bill is a rapist!” many times and hold up his sign. It was a very successful protest! I told him he should check out FreeRepublic.com. He and his family hung out for a while with me and then left. The other supporters had left shortly before. After a while the rally was over and it was time for the final phase of my plan. As the Democrats left, most of them went by the main corner where not only could they see my sign but no doubt realize that while they were in the rally I was by the street holding that sign so everyone passing could see it! It was a perfect night for open windows and their sad faces didn’t stop me from smiling and waving. Some waved back but economically only used one finger. Most of the leaving cars got to see my sign. Some asked what it meant and I gave them a slip of paper with a link to the Juanita Broaddrick Interview. One angry young man with a sign strode by with fixed eyes ahead and extremely angry face.

All in all I was glad to make it there to protest Hillary Clinton crimes, DNC Policies and to explain that Bill Clinton is a rapist.

(Above) Early Hillary Clinton protesters were there long before I could get there.		(Above) This was after we sang "God Bless America. A water protester that was leaving used a megaphone siren at the very end to drown us out. In the dead silence that followed I yelled "He hates "God Bless America!" Everyone laughed at him.
