Just got home from voting! About 6 people in line getting checked in before me, had two machines running and only two items on the ballot (Prez and one US rep) so went quickly.
One young person there wasn’t in the book. Heard her telling the poll worker that she registered when she was 18, every time she goes to Social Services office they ask does she want to register she says yes, but she doesn’t have a registration card. She’s 24 now and never voted. Poll worker calls someone and verifies she’s registered, so she’ll cast her first vote today! Don’t know who she’s voting for, but makes you wonder why she’s wanting to vote in 2016 but didn’t bother to vote in 2012 or the primaries, eh???
Also overheard the poll worker tell the person he called that our location has had close to 200 voters. Considering we vote at a community center 10 miles from town, that’s not bad.

There was a lady on Dobbs just now (cute blonde, I think her name is Lee Clark and she does the graphs on Fox News and Fox Biz). She said to not necessarily pay attention to the exit polls as most of them are taken prior to 3 and a lot of people vote after that. We’ve already said many Pubbies vote on their way home from work, so they would not be included in the exit polls being reported.

Grandma just voted in Oklahoma. Her first vote cast since 1948 when she voted for Strom Thurmond in Arkansas.
