President Obama has described Donald Trump as ignorant, dangerous and unfit to lead the nation, but he’ll ask the Republican president-elect Thursday not to wipe out his cherished, legacy-making executive actions on everything from the Iranian nuclear deal to Obamacare.
In a meeting at the White House to prepare Mr. Trump for taking office, Mr. Obama will try to persuade the president-elect to honor what his aides call a “tradition” of preserving executive actions implemented by the departing chief executive.
“There is a tradition, particularly with regard to executive agreements of successive presidents preserving some element of continuity,” said White House press secretary Josh Earnest. “I don’t know whether or not that will apply in this case. These protests feel like the same manipulated, pre-planned chaos that happened with BLM. The long-term agenda was in place at the very beginnings, just waiting for some incident to exploit.
These protests? Notice how the protesting, which was turning voters to Trump, ended after the conventions. Now that the election didn't get stolen, in no time it simultaneously happens everywhere there are stupid liberals who know what's best for everyone else so they take to the streets. Next phase the invisible hand will implement is getting hispanics, blacks, and paid agitators involved.
Keep in mind that it was only about a month ago that there was that attempted coup of Trump's candidacy, because of "outrage" over an illegal recording of Trump's private conversation with a member of the Bush Dynasty.
Wow....this is all so incredible. If one thinks of it as if they're reading a novel, you'd be thinking "who would ever believe this"? I noticed on the news this morning, the “snowflakes” who are unhappy about the election results were out burning stuff and disrupting etc. Where’s our current President calling for them to knock it off for a smooth transition?
