I sure hope so. But understand that there will be tremendous pressure from the political elite to continue restricting human activity on federally owned lands. The resources therein are a defacto collateral for the national debt. Interior policy will inevitably be indirectly linked to fiscal policy. Without massive spending cuts and reform of entitlements the long term for Western land management will be uncertain for ranching, logging, mining etc
