As I understand it, “Chelsea” Manning is a biological male, with all the male characteristics you can think of.
So then, why does the media persist in calling “he” a “she”????

If I were a betting person, I would wager that Chelsea is already on a lengthy list of possibly shameless pardons.
(I do not pretend to know. But I do recall Mister Clinton's pardoning of some highly icky criminals at the end of his alleged presidency, and it goes to precedence. )

correct there is plenty of precedence for the death penalty for leaking secrets.
The mainstream press’ determination to change our concept of gender is perhaps one reason why voters revolted and went for Trump. Liberalism is by nature arrogant and condescending. And to whatever degree that did have some blowback.
