If the IRS can engange in blatant political discrimination there’s no reason a dumbass university can’t. Drain the swamp already.

Pawliki: "It's a little tough, but as I said, it happened on Veterans Day and a minor disturbance in my life is nothing compared to the sacrifice our service people have provided."

Amen.

"Well it seems he has kept his job there, he is just standing down from that particular position. If I am reading this right."

That was my take - he stepped down from some leadership position, but was not fired. His comment was actually pretty mild: he was just calling out people on THEIR threats to leave the country, their claims that this wasn't their country anymore, or that Trump isn't their president. I wonder if he would have faced any problems with the university if he had tweeted, "Trump isn't my president." Probably not.

“Federal funding to universities need to be stopped until universities have a 50/50 ratio of liberal/conservative profs.”

Federal funding to universities need to be stopped until universities have a 0/100 ratio of liberal/conservative profs.

No liberal should have any voice in anything, or any opportunity to influence anyone.

Evil should never be allowed to masquerade as a “responsible opposing viewpoint” to good, in any of its manifestations. Leftism is evil.

I think the professor’s mistake was in phraseology. He should have said, “I am so empathetic to those distressed by a Trump victory, that, if they are unable to afford the $16 fare from Rochester to Canada, I will pay for their ticket, providing only that they prove their sincerity by agreeing never to return to the United States.” Unassailable!

Given all the celebrities threatening to move to Canada or the EU, this isn’t offensive at all.
Unless there’s a double standard of “I can threaten to leave, yeah, me!” is good but an offer of “you want to go, go, I’ll help!” is bad. Then we have an immoral double standard.

The professor mistakenly believed that the First Amendment is applicable in the USA.

He should apply for a job in the Trump White House. He could get rewarded for his loyalty.

The title you created

" Pro-Trump Academic Forced To Step Down Due To Facebook Posts "

didn't match the linked article you posted and had to be changed in order to prevent needless duplication.

Please use published titles only. Thanks.

Nope he was threatened with being fired, so he quit. He now has some low end non-tenured job.
