This decade’s antisemitism is just as malignant as the antisemitism of 7-8 decades ago. I hope we can crush this evil without a global war, although my optimism on a peaceful solution is fading. Either way, this bigotry must not be allowed to spread or to harm the innocent.

Why isn’t that teacher fired? This is a very severe abuse of their position. They have probably been saying antisemitic/antiIsrael stuff all along. And, the third grade is far too young to have a discussion of this kind.

We rightly make light of the hysterical reaction of students over Trump’s win... to be fair an election at least has real consequences unlike a “school discussion”.
Just another oppurtunity for lawyers to busy themselves.
Political activism at an elementary school is improper in any case, though.

We made fun here of young children and their parents begging Trump to please “be kind and nice”.
And indeed... I think 8 years old can digest horrible information about wars/historical events etc. without ‘nighmares’ and without making this part of a lawsuit.
I did at that age... millions before and after me do so, too.
I just think that angle shouldn’t be the focus. Political activism in front of third graders is inappropriate... that should be the issue.
They brought in a Palestinian to lecture third-graders???

Sorry. I don’t think 8 is old enough to be abused with this anti-Semitism. While in grade school, I had nightmares about things I saw in movies which I knew weren’t real. The people lecturing these grade school kids were very real.
I’ll say it. That lady (and most liberal women) looks like a dude.

The only Palestinian I can remember in my youth was Sirhan Sirhan (1968) when he gunned down what would have been the nest President of the US, Bobby Kennedy.
Today’s LEFT would give him a metal just for being Palestinian.
