Well, here’s one for the “diversity” the liberals constantly bitch about.

She’s not only a woman, but also a member of a minority group; her parents are Indians from India.

So the liberals can’t bash her on diversity grounds; she represents the diversity the liberals tell us we should have.

I’m fine with someone who said she would vote for Trump after the primaries but who was pretty anti Trump prior being given this position (Who cares about the UN). Romney, however, should be an absolute non starter as SOS. Can we PLEASE have some more vocal voices about NeverRomney when it comes to SOS?!?! The fact that the MSM is basically lavishing praise on Romney for this job (remember how they savaged him in 2012?) should be proof enough that Trump needs to stay clear form his 2020 Primary challenger!!!

That is one way to get her out of the Governor’s office. Who would become the Governor?

Good move. Put her on the back burner. No one gives a damn about the UN.

Aren’t we forgetting something here, Trump has picked Haley for the job, but the article doesn’t say she accepted the appointment.

I don’t like her at all, she is a Cheap Labor Express Republican like Grahamnesty. But the UN position is not somewhere she can backstab from.

I don’t think UN ambassador is a spot that Trump sees a lot of need for, so she’s as good a pick as anyone I guess.

This was predicted by Scott Adams (Dilbert) here:

“But Trump has a more solvable framing problem. Clinton’s team labelled him a racist, homophobic, sexist. Trump can violate that frame enough times to break it over time. But it will take a lot of cracks. You’ve already seen several. Expect more to come.”

Great move. McMaster, a Trump supporter from the very beginning, now becomes the new governor. And Hugh Leatherman becomes the Lt. Gov. The only way he can refuse is to resign. Either way SC will now have a chance to move forward without Leatherman’s interference.

I’m proud of the President-Elect’s choice. At least she would die for her guns and don’t at all sound like a globalist.

Confirmed with Team Trump. Purely strategic move to get her where she can’t do any damage and move Trumper into SC Gov office.

I don’t care for Haley after her VERY QUICK attack on the flag in the capitol grounds. She proved unable to resist jumping onto the “grievance” bandwagon when it came down to the choice. However, this position is a dead-end. She has no political power of her own. The UN ambassador simply does what the administration tells them. Though I could do without Mitt, that also applies to Secretary of State for that matter...

Trump has made some great choices so far for his cabinet in positions that count.

As a conservative South Carolinian, I’m not a huge fan of Governor Haley. But I don’t mind this. She is a conservative and is termed out so we might end up getting a much better governor here out of the deal!

Good.

She won’t be a Governor bitching about deporting people from the US. We will have a Trump supporter in as Governor.

Go Trump!
