Explosive claims by Internet sleuths, which were prompted after reading stolen documents belonging to Mr. Podesta, have been derided as “viciously phony” by Fox News’ Howard Kurtz. A tweet by Mr. Breitbart shortly before his March 1, 2012, death is now being cited by online researchers as proof that they are onto something big.
“How prog-guru John Podesta isn’t household name as world class underage sex slave op cover-upperer defending unspeakable dregs escapes me,” Mr. Breitbart wrote Feb. 4, 2011. The conservative icon’s death at age 43 was attributed to “heart failure.”
“Hi John, The realtor found a handkerchief (I think it has a map that seems pizza-related. Is it yorus [sic]?” a woman identified as Susaner asked. “They can send it if you want.”
Such wording led online sleuths to investigate Mr. Podesta’s connections with D.C. power-player James Alefantis, owner of Comet Ping Pong. The Democrat fundraiser and pizza place owner, who is mentioned in 16 different WikiLeaks documents, had a public Instagram account that featured sexual innuendo and bizarre images of children.
Accounts for Comet Ping Pong employees, which are now set to private, featured nudity involving men with slices of pizza strategically placed over their genitals.

I also find it hard to believe. But perhaps Breitbart was smiling because he got the answers or evidence he wanted? Who knows?
I can’t imagine having dinner with these people, but perhaps as a matter of investigation. If I thought I could expose the truth about a pedophile ring at a pizza joint, I would most definitely hold my nose and eat dinner there. It would be worth it to save the victims and to lock up the perps.

Yes, it was. Searching for anything or anyone who was covering the Lewinsky scandal on the internet is actually how I found this site. I only lurked for the first few years I was here. Almost every poster had the purest heart you can imagine. You could actually get chastised if you could name all the teams of the NFL but couldn’t name all the books of the Bible!
Things changed during the 1996 primary, the wars between the Kemp and Dole people were incredibly profane and divisive, much worse than anything you’ve seen recently. After Dole lost, it just kept going on, I left completely for a good while. Then the site started getting itself back together when it was time to lead up to the 2000 election, and I came back and joined with this name when everyone could unite on getting the Clintons out of office. Watching these so called FReepers now defend her and her ilk against this investigation going forward is a disgrace considering this site was built on the original Clinton investigation.

A little more history, I just remembered. Back in the day, there were MANY posters that had the word “Eagle” in some form in their name, by far the most common name in some manner.
Whenever a liberal was detected in our midst, some one would post “EAGLES UP” and often ping many of us to come take out the trash and . How this turned into the zot with the little cats I don’t know, but the Eagles actually became an endangered species as the mods turned on them at times for being too aggressive. Over time, seems I’m about the only one left, or only one I ever see.
But this might explain why I have little patience with Clinton sympathizers on here. And I still don’t see why I should.
It's not an investigation at all. It's a bunch of internet scammers taking advantage of the credulous - some for entertainment and some for profit.
Good comparison. It's true, the passengers that crashed in a field in PA had a paradigm shift based on a few phone calls when they were in flight. The old paradigm that called for passengers and crew to 'cooperate with the hijackers' was obsolete as soon as the passengers of UA Flight 93 found out the fate of the other aircraft that had crashed into the twin towers.
Likewise for the crewmembers up front, as I've said over and over since: the number one deterrent to the hijacking of a civilian airliner is the attitude of the passengers.
I don’t remember exactly what stage the investigation was in when I first found the site, but I remember back then people could still post the full Washington Post articles on here, which kept us from having to soil ourselves by going there, but led to the WP threatening FR bad enough now all we get are excerpts.
But what was going on here was more an attitude of disgust, and amazement at the sinful behavior of the President, as I said many here were very religious. There were basically no liberals on the internet back then, anywhere, because you not only had to be fairly well off to have a computer, you had to be pretty smart to get on the internet, which excluded most liberals by default.
That was the best thing, it was a conservative heaven, with basically no disruptors, the only arguments were between conservatives over who was the most conservative. Once liberals started getting on here, several of us suggested the site should go to pay only for access, but the owners apparently prefer this open format that leads to the Clinton sympathizers coming in and being tolerated somewhat.
No one's taking advantage of me, I'm rather enjoying just sitting back and watching the Clinton's and their cronies squirm while people dig through their dirty laundry. Sorry it upsets you so much.
I'm not upset, only amused that instead of digging through the Clintons's affairs people, like you, are following scammers down a rabbit hole that has zero chance of threatening Podesta or the Clintons.

4. Washington D.C. has long history with pedophilia, with one of the most recent Speakers of the House ADMITTING he was guilty of disgusting criminal behavior.
5. Other governments are now being tied to the same guilty acts, most notably in Europe where scandals continue to break regularly.
6. Many investigators into these horrible injustices are being found dead, under strange circumstances. Andrew Brietbart was only ~40 years old, then his coroner was found dead from poisoning shortly thereafter!
Anyone who doesn’t want this investigated further needs to go to hide under the bed in their safe room.

You’re comments are far from nutty or extremist. I mean, you find a Pizzeria connected to the DC elites with art of children being raped and tortured, the sowner shares very suggestive images of children to other single men with hashtags like “inthebutt”, pedophile symbols are all over the place, and some don’t even have any curiosity about it?
Hilarious, meanwhile back in reality John Podesta has been in hiding (or already in jail) for the last 2 weeks, while his brother has been busted for lobbying for foreign governments without disclosing it. And the digging is just getting started.
1. There are some good people out there, who don't have the stomach for it, and just want it to go away, but wouldn't post on it.
2. Then there are those that actually support the Clintons, who want to keep it secret, or support them in a way that is beyond their ability to understand or control.
3. Then there's the those that think they're smarter than everyone else, and want to be the first to make others look bad, and see this as an opportunity to self glorify, not realizing they could end up being on the wrong side of the biggest story in decades that is just getting started.
I'm just waiting to see, hoping it leads to more criminals being brought to justice. Watching the Clintons and their cronies panic is just the icing on the cake.
I don’t remember who said this, but the kindest way to explain their intent is that these people are the upstanding, salt of earth citizens who cannot fathom that such evil could possibly even exist. I guess God bless them if that’s the case.
