It wasn’t an apology, but former Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney appears to be embracing President-elect Donald Trump in a stunning turnaround from his days as a prominent leader of the Never Trump movement.
After joining Trump for dinner at Jean-Georges restaurant in New York City, Romney made a lengthy statement to the press pool of reporters, remarking that he had a “wonderful evening” visiting with the president-elect.
“These discussions I’ve had with him have been enlightening, and interesting, and engaging. I’ve enjoyed them very, very much,” he said.
He expressed hope for America under the leadership of Donald Trump, confidently telling reporters that the country’s best days were ahead.
“All of those things combined give me increasing hope that President-elect Trump is the very man who can lead us to that better future,” he said.

Mitt is a political chameleon. He has no principles. You don’t want someone like that on your team.
If Trump chooses Mittens, I just can't see it ending well - a very Public "You're Fired" in the future.

Trump should steer clear of Mittens.

I wish Donald would talk him into being the City Manager of Detroit, just to make a clear example of how competent leadership works in managing major cities.

Agree with your comments re Mitt’s self-centered personality. Methinks he has delusions of grandeur and/or destiny. He just does not fit in with the caliber of people that Trump is bringing into his cabinet.
His biggest “talent” seems to be the ability to vacillate. I think we’ve seen quite enough of Mitt’s duplicity already. We don’t need to see anymore. Trump needs to send him on his way so he can pursue his spiritual ambitions outside the government.
