President-elect Donald Trump tweeted Wednesday he is leaving his multi-million dollar businesses to focus on being president – a change from comments he’s made in the past about being able to juggle both.
"I will be leaving my great business in total in order to fully focus on running the country in order to make America great again," he said in a series of early morning tweets. "While I am not mandated to do this under the law, I feel it is visually important, as president, to in no way have a conflict of interest with my various businesses."
Trump said legal documents were being drafted that would take him “completely out of business operations” and added that the presidency is “a far more important task!”

If he hasn’t already picked someone, Romney would be perfect for fixing the VA. Romney made most of his money, putting huge companies back on track as a consultant.
I heard a discussion about this yesterday on NPR radio. The libs were besides themselves over this.
One outrageously claimed that if a member of a foreign government stayed at a foreign hotel with Trump’s name on it, that could be constituted as a foreign campaign contribution.

I like how Fox insinuates that someone who has run multi million and billion $ businesses, successfully, will be at a total loss running a gov’t agency. LOL
Run the gov’t like a business. If businesses were run like gov’t agencies, they’d be out of business before they started. Idjits in gov’t would be lost trying to run a legit business, other than “lobbying”.
I find it hard to believe that Trump would place anyone in a position of authority over his kids. Much less Mitt Romney.

True. ROMNEY would be the figurehead to ensure no collusion goes on between the WHITE HOUSE and the TRUMP empire.
The kids will sell everything and head to europe and spend spend spend! Maybe not. That will happen when the 3rd generation takes over.
