Tuesday on TBS’s “Conan,” former Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) said President-elect Donald Trump’s “delusional” and “totally insane” tweets have “hidden” his messages.
Discussing Trump’s tweet about illegal voters, Sanders said, “When he says that, he is really sending a signal to Republicans all over this country, Republican leaders. What he is saying is we have got to suppress the vote. We have got to make it harder for poor people, people of color, immigrants, elderly people to participate because they may be voting against us. And that is scary stuff.
On Trump’s flag burning tweet Sanders said Trump’s hidden message is, “Be careful if you are prepared to dissent.”

He is saying that any effort to ensure the validity of votes would disproportionately effect people who would vote for Democrats because they are too stupid and lazy to follow simple procedures.
How in the world did this guy ever get to be a candidate in the first place? Obviously the plan was that Hillary would easily defeat him. I always thought O’Malley should have been their candidate....youth, pretty...typical Dem criteria...

Hah! I was just thinking that. I wonder if Bernie has been playing Trump’s speeches backwards, looking for hidden messages.

The Obama administration says we have about 12 million illegals in the USA. Outside groups say up to 30 million. We really do not know but 20 million might be a reasonable guess.

We could be talking from one to two million illegal votes. The government does not really know how many because they do not want to know. This would be an easy thing to find if they wanted to.

When Trump says “I’m going to eat breakfast now”, he’s really saying that he’s going to exploit the millions of migrant farm workers who picked oranges for his orange juice while at the same time saying that he wants to deport them. He’s such a hypocrite!!!!

Bernie Sanders is likely telling us what Trump’s tweets would have meant if he, Bernie Sanders, had so tweeted. It likely scares libs like Sanders that Trump’s message resonates with us “deplorables”. Trump’s tweets say what they mean and nothing more. This frightens the likes of Sanders. Sanders’ allusion to “hidden messages” is probably just his own attempt to cope with what he finds to be his unease that Trump’s tweets are received so well by so many when he personally finds them abhorrent.
