They're not going to be any more expensive than they were. They're profit margin just won't be as high.

Not too many companies that make those products. They're their own best competitor. Made in USA still counts.

Nothing’s quite as corrupt as a Mexican politician. Cram a taco in it lady.

Mexico should have to comply with some of our standards — osha, EPA, labor laws, etc. they can get back to us later.

"The implications are very serious, not only for Nuevo Leon, but for Carrier,” Sen. Marcella Guerra said Wednesday of Carrier’s decision and its impact on her state, according to The Associated Press."

Haters gonna hate...

“Made in USA” can be a selling point to offset higher price. More efficient production methods can reduce cost of labor without lowering wages, thereby making lower prices doable. Thanks for the advice, though, Mexico.

Mexican official: Carrier will ‘suffer’ by keeping jobs in US>>>>>>>>>>>

Yes, but for a very short time.

Every US gov federal office has A/C.

And soon Mexico will suffer as the heroine and cocaine crossing our Southern border will come to a dead halt.

Those days are gone amigo.

Mexico will suffer IF Trump shuts down remittance going to Mexico from it's brown military that has invaded the United States.

These millions of dollars need to be sequestered into a banking account to pay for border security.

My son is a Sales Engineer for Trane, and regularly competes against Carrier for big jobs. When I had mentioned to him the original story that Carrier was moving the jobs to Mexico, I asked him how he though that might affect Trane. His response was that he didn’t think it was going to help Carrier that much because they were already having reliability issues with product, and moving the production to Mexico might only exacerbate the problem, and worsen the perception.

Mexico lost 1000 American jobs and manufacturing capacity.

America kept those jobs and capacity. Who is actually better off?

Mexican official: Carrier will ‘suffer’ by keeping jobs in US

Probably not. The jobs that they are now keeping in Indiana are heavily subsidized by tax incentives. The people they were going to lay off in Indiana they will lay off elsewhere because they have to keep their promise to reduce labor costs. And Trump likes them. It's a win-win-win for Carrier and its parent, United Technologies.

China knows as Trump does that the country that has the factories has the technology, wealth ,production capability and power.

The industrial revolution is what gave us our living standards and civilization.

China had been deindustrializing the USA.China was sending us back to the Stone Age

Trump knows that a key to making America great again is to reindustrialize the USA. Trump has started with carries, Ford ,Appe etc.

Now with Trump I have great hope for the future .My next air conditioning unit will be a carrier , MY next car or Truck will be a Ford, my next smartphone will be an iphone. Thank you Carrier and Thank you Mr Trump for making America great Again! Long Live President Trump!

Obama to Trump: ‘What magic wand do you have?’

“Well, how exactly are you going to do that? What exactly are you going to do? There’s no answer to it,” Obama said.
“He just says, ‘Well, I’m going to negotiate a better deal.’ Well, what, how exactly are you going to negotiate that? What magic wand do you have? And usually the answer is, he doesn’t have an answer.”

He’s already created more jobs than Obama this year and isn’t even sworn in yet!!! He IS the magic wand!
