SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — The U.S. government and the City of San Francisco are asking Kate Steinle’s family to dismiss the wrongful death lawsuit in a hearing on Friday.
Kate Steinle was shot and killed in July of 2015 on Pier 14 along San Francisco’s waterfront. Francisco Lopez-Sanchez, an undocumented immigrant, has been charged in the murder.
Lopez-Sanchez was released from the San Francisco City Jail in Apil.

The city should be sued (paid by those who voted for them) and the city officials should be personally sued for their poor decisions. Sue them very hard.

They made it more strict; you can’t any longer legally be totally naked in any part of the city, you have to have a PARADE PERMIT. And then it’s okay for any person to be in public, totally nude.

It’s illegal to store anything other than a CAR inside of a garage inside SF city limits.

They need to make a legal test case out of this for all sanctuary city crimes by illegals. Enough is enough.
Is this supposed to mean "will ask", this coming Friday? Or "asked", two days ago? This modern news-speak tic of writing everything as happening in the present tense is an abomination and a crime against language.

They just realized that indemnification stops if you intentionally break the law.
I hope the family wins their suit, and punish the idiots who vote for city leaders who hate America.
Plead, beg, whine, grovel, etc. might be more appropriate than “ask”!
Additionally, only the judge can ‘dismiss’ a suit. The plaintiffs can cease to pursue the matter, but that’s a little too on-point for the premise this ‘reporter’ is trying to smuggle, ie,that there’s something trivial about this suit.
