Denise Albert, a morning show contributor and co-host of The Moms, a SiriusXM radio show, was traveling through Los Angeles International Airport on Sunday when the 'humiliating' experience left her in tears.
Albert detailed the experience of removing her wig, exposing the sores on her feet, and telling the TSA agents she had a medical port in her chest that she didn't want them to touch - a warning that was not heeded.
Albert said she notified TSA about her medical port and removed the cream from her bag, as she has done numerous times before without an issue.
The security agents then pulled her aside, and said she would have to take off her shoes and undergo a full body pat-down 'with pressure' if she wanted to take the medical cream with her, Albert wrote.
The agents flouted the TSA pre-check protocol by asking her to take off her shoes, leaving her bare feet freezing for 20 minutes due to her medical treatment, she claimed.
Albert asked to sit down, since her chemotherapy has left her feet covered in sores, which she did not want touching the ground.
They later offered to conduct the search in the privacy of a room, but Albert said she couldn't walk there because they wouldn't return her boots.
The radio host said the agents then told her they would 'apply pressure from head to toe', and she decided to take her wig off, saying: 'I didn't want them to touch it, move it, or ruin it'.

One of the several reasons I quit flying. I was pretty well sick of flying even before 911. TSA is just icing on the cake. Screw that!

We spent the time and money to get the TSA pre- went smoothly several times thru security but on our last trip my husband had to remove his shoes and had other issues - people in the “regular” line got through faster than he did.
Donald Trump briefly mentioned something about reigning in the TSA during his acceptance speech at the Cleveland convention.
The comment was made very briefly, but I wonder what he has in mind.
I hope he kills the TSA. It does no good. It is just in place to torment the american public.

On the other hand, I cannot say enough GOOD things for a number of TSA people who treated my wife (who is handicapped and requires a wheelchair) and I, as we went through customs inspection both in Canada and in the U.S. Unfortunately, there are poor employees in every job and also it was unfortunate for the articles two examples, those travelers found them.

Incompetent, indecent scumbags - I DESPISE the TSA. How they treat people would be bad enough if they actually accomplished their mission, but they have NEVER caught anyone who was trying to board a plane with a bomb or anything else; they regularly fail tests by other government agents, who sneak guns past these morons.
Trump MUST do something about these people, starting at the top with a serious change in attitude.

I have learned that if I don’t use my airport borrowed wheel chair and walk through the screening machine, it has stopped the hand screening. So even though it is painful, I get out of the chair to walk it.
I was leaving Fresno a few years ago, and they pulled three of us out of line, and made us stand side by side with our arms out, switching from one foot to the other for about a minute until I told them I was going to fall down and threatened to sue them for more money than they’ve ever seen. The screening was terminated and we boarded and left. Still have no idea why, especially at an airport that doesn’t exactly qualify as an international in the middle of an agricultural area of about 200 square miles.

The TSA needs to be disbanded.
They’ve never caught a terrorist; they’ve only inconvenienced and abused citizens.
