Pardoning these young people doesn’t confer ANY status on them. They are still illegal alien foreigners. The only thing that will change that is receiving legal documents.
Then we might as well nullify all the harboring of illegal alien laws, too, if staying in the country illegally is not a crime once the illegal entry is concluded.

Gerald Ford gave conditionally amnesty to unnamed draft dodgers.
JFK did not name but pardoned violators of the Narcotics Act. Likewise Benjamin Harrison for Mormons engaged in polygamy.
US Grant and Andrew Johnson both granted amnesties/pardons to Confederate soldiers and officials.

Isn’t a pardon an individual granting, not a wholesale grant to a group or class of people?

Noted - the article specifically mentioned "pardoned". We'll have to see if Obama goes the amnesty route and ends up giving amnesty to a host of felons to boot....

“Drug dealing” is a political crime. Pharmacists do the same exact thing but they have a piece of paper from the government saying it’s OK. Morally, there is zero difference.
Except thousands of people don’t die after getting drugs from the pharmacist. Drug dealers should be seen for what they are, dispensers of poison, and executed like they are in Asia.
You do know that one of the major reasons the mortality rate in the U.S. is going up is because of fatal drug overdoses, don’t you?
