DALLAS - The Republican elector who has gotten national attention for refusing to vote for Donald Trump at the Electoral College on Dec. 19 was apparently not a first responder on September 11, 2001 as he has stated for years and has a questionable career history, according to an investigation by WFAA.

WOW— I knew there was something wrong with this guy. imo,he was irrational to begin with but now according to the TV investigative report he is a bankrupt, liar and stole valor from 9/11 first responders. This man needs some professional help. This is a typical democrat supporter. He is now going to get this told to millions next Monday.

I read that he paid for membership at Ashley Madison, the affair hookup site, while he was bankrupt.

Maybe even pursued for stolen valor.

It's worse than that. He formed a non profit corporation to take donations based on his stolen valor. That is a serious felony. He could (and should) be put in prison.

It is pretty easy to become an elector!

In 1988 the Libertarian Party of North Dakota needed
people to volunteer to be electors in North Dakota.
I lean libertarian but was a card carrying member of the Republican party. I was selected but unfortunately was unable to cast my vote for president. The point is I had
a passing acquaintance with a couple of libertarians in the party and was selected.

Expect more of this in future presidential elections. Imposter leftists posing as party loyalists pushing to be chosen as electors. There is no end to their cheating.

My effort is stalled. It’s not so easy to find an employer for this guy. He bounces around a lot leading a deceptive life.

What I don’t understand is why this fraud has not been relieved of his duties as an elector. He obviously has mental problems. And by the way, who is responsible for this guy. Someone had to nominate or offer him up as an elector.

Bankrupt, unemployed, does anyone else feel certain that they will find that he was taking the foundation money?

I agree. Forget they naysayers.

One would think a presidential elector would be vetted.

Or do they just have a drawing at the local Wal-Mart?

Art I, Sect 2 says: “the Electors in each State shall have the Qualifications requisite for Electors of the most numerous Branch of the State Legislature. “

Wonder what the qualifications are for the Texas legislature and if Texas legislators can be kicked out by vote of the body?
