Dallas Morning News said that the two ineligible electors were federal employees, who can’t serve as electors. What were they doing as electors in the first place if they couldn’t serve? Did they only become federal employees after Nov. 8th?? Or did some simpleton in the Texas Party staff not vet them beforehand? A poor show, all around.
Just popped the champagne and opened up the smoked salmon and crusty French bread.

So Kasich and Paul tied with Faith Spotted Eagle for 4th place, and came in right behind Colin Powell?
I think Washington has legalized recreational marijuana use, but what is Texas' excuse?

In Texas, there were 2 no-shows and 2 ineligible, there’s the 4 that needed replacing today.
One ineligible may have been Sisneros, they knew he was backing out and would have to replace him, so that leaves one unknown ineligible.
And then there was Suprun, he did show and probably went for kasick...
5 in Texas, two of which were no shows, who could have had car or plumbing trouble.
Ms. Eagle should demand a recount.
At least she wasn’t pretentious and called it a disturbance. She called a spade a spade.
So basically Trump had recorded two defector electors and Clinton had twice as many defect. Since she is twice as defective, that’s about right.
It’s a good thing Trump had a margin of 36 evs above the the 270 victory threshold. Imagine if it had been much closer. Chaos would have ensued.

thanks for the info; turns out Art Sisneros is an industrial welding supplies salesman & not a fed employee.
So we don’t know who the two ineligibles were.
They may have fibbed on their app, and got outed today.
Or changed jobs between the time they were picked to be electors & now.
I hope this gets followed up on.
Plus the two no-shows. (Car trouble? Plumbing trouble?)
At least we have two names, Sisneros resigned & Suprun voted possibly kasick.

Right, but they are secret ballots - the defectors can’t be held accountable for their faithlessness unless they go public. I think this is a stupid system which encourages faithlessness.
