Senator John McCain Demands “Act of War” Against Russia…
The Conservative Treehouse ^ | Dec. 30, 2016 | Sundance

Posted on 12/30/2016 4:04:04 PM PST by HarleyLady27

Some things never change. In full alignment with President Obama, the ever faithful war monger Senator John McCain calls for a declaration of war against Russia.

…and if you disagree with him, well, you’re “a Hobbit“, or “a crazy“… or something.

(Via Reuters) […] Republican John McCain, chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, said on Friday that Russia must face a penalty for the cyber attacks and that is was possible to impose many sanctions.

“When you attack a country, it’s an act of war,” McCain said in an interview with the Ukrainian TV channel “1+1” while on a visit to Kiev.

My understanding is that a senator cannot be impeached.

A Supreme Court Judge was likely murdered. McCain better watch his back.

Ah, the Saudis are threatening to pull poor little John’s big income.

Send him back to Vietnam and ask them to finish the job correctly this time.

> Could it be possible that Obama was the lesser of two evils in 2008?

It’s unbelievable that it could be so, but the answer is probably “yes”.

And they called Ron Paul the crazy one.

***

Could well be lesser of two evils because Obama went SO far left but was incompetent at starting a nuclear war, and so now we have Trump as a reaction.

Obama still sucks, but one thing I’ll give him credit for is that his stompyfoot attitude exposed the uniparty.

We Hoosiers got rid of Dick Lugar. Why can't you people in Arizona do your part to save America?

You want the truth? Too many Kalifornians moved in and too many youts at ASU and UofA.

We’d all be much better off if McCain had never been released from the Hanoi Hilton.

===I have read quite a bit of Russian history===
Read about the crossing of Dnieper. 800,000 casualties. Why? Most of them were ordered to ford the river by swimming it across so that “islands” of bodies appeared in the middle of the river long for a few miles ... Be sure, they will do anything they are told to do, like robots.

===Hey - you're not still mad about that Katyn thing, are you? /sarcasm===

Perhaps you'll be amazed yet I'm kinda happy that the Katyn Massacre happened. Before that, the Russians murdered millions of us in a silent and hidden way, yet equally brutal, and the world didn't know that. The Katyn Massacre took “only” 25,000 officers but was loud enough to draw the public attention.

Now I'm really happy that Trump is the POTUS. He pledges to renew and actually to rebuild the power of the US Army and this is the thing that gives me hope, with a hope it's not too late. Thousands of new unstoppable cutting edge ICBMs is the only thing that can stop the Soviet secret police operative (KGB) V.Putin from any attempt to burn the West.

Anyway, for me, a Pole, it's far better today. Poland is free and on the side of Good (oh yes, it should be put right this way). We are allies you can always depend on. Such is our innate free-will state of mind. If you don't believe in our genuine hearts, then try to make it practical. To whom could we possibly defect? LOL

General Jack D. Ripper: He said war was too important to be left to the generals. When he said that, 50 years ago, he might have been right. But today, war is too important to be left to politicians. They have neither the time, the training, nor the inclination for strategic thought.

The first time I saw that line from "A Few Good Men" where Nicholson says "neither the time nor the inclination" - I thought to myself: "He ripped that off from Dr. Strangelove."

I did and was surprised at how much information is unsourced or relies on anonymous sources.

I've always been critical of McCain of his involvement in the S&L scandal. He (and Senator Glenn) were both complicit in that ordeal.

You are correct that a senator cannot be RECALLED by his state because Senator is a federal position. You’re also right that AZ was working on recalling him when 9/11 happened and a recall in AZ was dropped in the interest of “unity”.

Freepers in AZ were active in leading that effort. Back in those days our federal elected officials signed a paper that they would honor (ha!) the recall if it ever came. I wasn’t here yet, but planning to move here and I thought then that it could be done but I’m resigned to the fact that we can’t vote him out. Not pleased, just resigned. I despise him!

Trump is right... How do you think he got the nickname of “Songbird” in Hanoi

I was told by two different retired special forces guys and one retired AZ high official.

McCain, my senator, is despised by most of his constituents. We couldn’t ‘ find anyone who could beat him in the primaries, and we certainly couldn’t vote for Democrat nut job Anne Kirkpatrick in the general election. Jeff Flake, our other senator, is just like McCain. He’s up for re-election in 2018 and I would love to kick his sorry @ss out in the primaries.
