Police have responded to a shooting inside Fort Lauderdale / Hollywood International Airport Friday afternoon.
Details have not been confirmed by police, but early reports indicate as many as seven people were shot. Former White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer, who was traveling from the airport, tweeted out following the incident:

He was honorably discharged from the Air National Guard about 4 months ago from Alaska. He was a combat engineerist.

Heh - I was flying out of Calcutta on Qatar Airlines, and the steward was an Arabic muslim and there was a Bengali muslim just getting drunk as a skunk. The Arab didn’t speak Hindi and the Indian didn’t speak Arabic so they were speaking English. It was hilarious. The Arab was like, I don’t get you Indian guys. You talk a good game but you can’t handle your liquor. No! I give you another drink but you must quit arguing! Enough!
