If he’s Hispanic, he may be of Dominican descent. By his face, he’s unlikely to be Mexican and probably not even Cuban (since they are generally very white or very black). Dominicans are more mixed, and of course there are other places in the Caribbean that the family could have come from.

But the “I’m not a Jew” remark is a little puzzling, to put it mildly.
