President Obama had to deal with a small domestic crisis at the White House -- a family friend was bitten by Sunny, the First Family's 4-year-old dog.
We're told the incident occurred Monday when the 18-year-old was visiting the White House. Sources connected to the girl tell us she went to pet and kiss Sunny, and the dog bit her on the face.
Sunny -- a female Portuguese Water Dog -- left a nasty gash under the girl's eye. We're told the Obamas' family physician, Dr. Ronny Jackson, checked her out and decided she needed stitches.

“Let the Wookie win”
It depends where the room is.
It has zip to do with the dog being mean or not.
Most dogs will attack or bite if a total stranger is stupid enough to get right in a dogs face. This is certainly not complex and most capable of critical thought understand this.
Are they sure it was the dog or the Wookie who did the biting? The latter has some HUGE chompers, you know.
Plus, the Wookie is known for being in a foul mood and prone to bite most of the time. Just sayin...... :0)
He probably just wanted you to keep petting him. I had a little Yorki who when I quit would take her paw and pull my arm toward her so I would continue. Her mouth was to little to wrap around my are. :-)
So, in this case, Obama got "credit" for adopting a rescue dog and a fawning write up in the NYT for planning to do so.
In reality, he was given, by some donor, a very expensive, purebred Portuguese Water Dog and later got another one.

I don’t care what his intentions were. He had his enormous jaws wrapped around my small forearm. It just wasn’t going to continue. The relationship was over.
“Firm hips and spine; good soup bone dog!” Poor Bo.
Any snap at close hand (or face) is an impressive thing. Of course a greyhound is a tad bigger than a Pomeranian! Ginger will also snap to get attention. She’ll be close enough that you feel the wind from her jaws snapping shut, but she has such control as to not bite. She is very shy around kids and will hide behind us if one is close.
lol!.......IOW, NEVER!..............
Worse than that. The poor kid will have to file an ObamCare claim.
$2500.00 deductible and she gets 8 stitches.
+1
THAT is the funniest photo I’ve seen in years and the look of horror on his face is priceless. It shows the dog is 100% in control and how it’s never been trained by anyone. That’s really sad, 2 hands on a leash. I’ve had St. Bernards + Great Danes and I’ve never in my entire life used 2 hands on a leash. Hilarious photo!
Yeah, black dog bites white girl.
Well if the Muslims needed an excuse to ditch the dogs....Poor Sunny, he no doubt knows his usefulness is over and moving isn’t all that’s gonna happen to him. Imagine being the Obama’s prop dog- you’d bite people too.
We have an 8 month old German Shepherd X that is hyperactive. I’ve tried everything in the world, every training trick, etc to get her to not pull. Nothing has worked. I see myself in that pic on the other end of the leash.
I finally bought a Gentle Leader collar and it’s like magic. She even calms down when I put it on her. We just got back from Petsmart and she did great.
Sunny knows his doggie butt has to get out of the White House!

Poor Dog. In 8 days that dog will no longer have a staff of 10 attendants to bathe water and feed it.
Just Barry and Mooch to care for it. They’ll probably dump the dog at the shelter on their way outta town.
Seems to like hating white girls.
Interesting, I’ve never heard of that (I just looked it up).
