President Trump has nominated his new CIA chief, Mike Pompeo. An evangelical Christian, Pompeo is a well-respected figure in the national security community. He is also an army veteran, and a staunch pro-life advocate.
Two years ago, Pompeo gave a Church speech where he said Muslims who think Islam is “the only way” needed to be dealt with. “This threat to America is from people who deeply believe that Islam is the way and the light and the only answer,” Pompeo told the church-goers, according to Press TV.
“These folks believe that it is religiously driven for them to wipe Christians from the face of the earth,” he added. “They abhor Christians,” he said of a small minority among Muslims.
Pompeo passionately urged believers to “pray and stand and fight and make sure that we know that Jesus Christ is our savior and is truly the only solution for our world.”

That was most likely whoever wrote the article, as you can see, that statement is NOT in quotes so it does not belong to the Director.
He’s absolutely right, the Lord Jesus Christ is the answer.
Who would’ve ever thought Donald Trump of all people, would use so many Christians in his administration.

Islam is a war plan, not a solution.
Most Christian don’t like the idea of a mortal man thinking he know how to implement God’s “solution” for the affairs of man.
I suspect, like most people, they would take up arms at the first sign of fallibility. Or deviation from their own doctrine.

Wrong. The entire New Testament is a testimony of how mortal man should conduct his life in a manner that will implement God’s will for mankind. It is because of people who NEGLECT to do God’s will that the world has been rightly referred to as “this vale of tears”!

So, let’s say Im in charge of the CIA and after much prayer I decide to effect God’s will in the affairs of man.
And I decide that means supporting the jihadi head choppers to get rid of Assad in Syria. Because obviously Assad is a greater evil, as conveyed by MY interpretation of the Bible.

What if I decided Putin was so ungodly and evil that the US population and politicians had to be convinced that war with Russia was the only Christian thing to do and then undertook a propaganda campaign along those lines.
Still OK, or are you going to tell me that can’t happen because of checks and balances.
No thanks. I’ll be my own check on such nonsense and make an enemy of anyone who endeavors for such arrangement.
The difference from Obama to Trump could not be more dramatic.
I can’t begin to imagine 8 years under Hilary’s dictatorship.
I will go to my grave believing Trump’s presidency is at least in part a product of our Lord’s divine intervention. I expected nothing because America had given up on God. Not us, but America no longer deserves God’s Grace. On January 20th, he bestowed his Grace on America anyway, even undeserved.
Thenk you Heavenly Father. Thank you Lord Jesus Christ. Your Grace came none too soon to save our nation from the permanent damage Hilary Clinton would have done.

I have thought this was answer to prayer. I also believe God is protecting him for the enemies of this earth as there seem to be many and yet, none of them have been able to bring him down.
He will need continual prayer which I believe is essential for he and our country.
Could it be anything else?

I certainly agree with you on the need for continual prayer for President Trump and for our beloved nation. I was predicting an irrevocable fall for America. I did not anticipate God’s blessed Grace to save America. I should have maintained that Faith and Hope.
