Would not for a moment guess this was the real reason. I bet the comments were more than “awkward.”
The person who attended the Wilson Center talk also noted that Deare made several remarks about how attractive Trump’s daughter, Ivanka Trump, appeared, remarks that person described as “awkward.”

Further vindicates ousting Flynn: not only is Flynn apparently a liar and disloyal himself, but was busy stocking the NSC with disloyal, loud-mouthed anti-Trumpers.
No doubt the enemedia will portray this as more “chaos”, but I look at it as fulfilling President Trump’s statement many weeks ago that he would fire any of his appointees who failed to perform, which is good for two reasons: 1.) quickly flushes traitors before they can do more harm; 2.) serves as examples to the rest, being akin to nailing dead Coyotes to the fence as a “warning” to the rest.
Another thought. With the position he had, one has to wonder if the guy who was fired is one of the leakers.
Doesn’t matter. If you speak against your boss (president), you should be fired. You can’t run a company (country) without people who are loyal and don’t try to undermine you.

This should be the same with the media. They are not loyal and are working non stop to undermine the President. It is probably not PC to call the media Enemy of the State.

If I recall at either Trump's Press Conference or the Rally, he said they are cleaning the swamp?
No, unfortunately the scumbags fired by the Trump admin. will be beloved in liberal academe (even more so if they have any past associations with Republican officials so they can be trotted out for “balance” and “bi-partisan” creds). This guy will write his own ticket in academe now, no Wal-Mart for him.
Still, the miscreants must be cleared out, new or old. This one was newly appointed by the Trump WH, no Obama holdover here. Sabotage of this admin. will come from a variety of directions and must be met with vigor, as in this case.

If national security is in any way adversely affected, there also should be mandatory 5 year jail term demanded.
