President Donald Trump Proposes Rally That Would Be 'The Biggest Of Them All'
Washington Examiner ^ | • 2/25/17 7:47 AM | By DANIEL CHAITIN (@DANIELCHAITIN7)

President Trump on Saturday floated the idea of his supporters gathering for a rally that would be "the biggest of them all."

Taking to Twitter, the president tweeted: "Maybe the millions of people who voted to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN should have their own rally. It would be the biggest of them all!"

Throughout his campaign, Trump touted the size of the crowds he could draw at his rallies, which often dwarfed the size of his competitor's events.

Trump later blamed the media for underreporting the size of his inauguration crowd on Jan. 20, which one week later was compared to the size of the Women's March on Washington. Organizers estimate about 500,000 people attended the march in D.C., while over a million participated in similar marches across the world.

"Watched protests yesterday but was under the impression that we just had an election! Why didn't these people vote? Celebs hurt cause badly," Trump tweeted at the time.

Trump's comment Saturday also follows weeks of nationwide demonstrations, many of which protested the president's executive order that temporarily banned refugees and blocked immigrants from several Muslim-majority countries with high-terror risk.

You complained about Trump’s plan/suggestion, so I asked you for your (better) plan - to get Lyin Ryan and McTurtle to move into action.

You didn’t answer my question.

Actually....your non-answer explains everything.

Have you been to a rally? They are a heckuva good time, meeting likeminded, good-natured folks the enemdia claims don’t exists. The opportunities to score some great merch. And DJT is fantastic in person. I’d go in a heartbeat if it’s somewhere close enough that I can drive. I won’t get on a plane, not even for the POTUS.

I’m not the President. He is. I think you’re just looking for trouble.

Ha! I think you just make derogatory statements about POTUS Trump and don’t want to own them.

We are done, here. This mystery is solved.

Rallies on 27th and March 4th. Patriots need to stand for what they believe.

It was a great rally, largely ignored by the media. My husband had a sign “Not paid to be here,” I like the suggestion to hold the Trump rally in Branson MO. Great place in the heartland! The mistake we made in 2009 was cleaning up and leaving. Should have stayed until the fake news could no longer ignore us.

Yes, “We came unarmed (this time)”. I was just thinking about that very sign. I even recognize the guy in the picture carrying it. Saw him two different times during the event.

Trump won by ignoring advice like yours. You still don`t `get` Trump, and likely never will. By the way, by any reasonable standard, Trump has accomplished more in his first 30 days, not to mention the 3 months leading up to his inaugeration, than any president in modern history.

People complaining that Congress is not acting fast enough need to understand that the constitution provides for a legislative process that is deliberate and slow.

What section of the Constitution states that the Congress is supposed to be ‘slow’? I spent a year studying it in law school and must have been absent the day they went over the Slowness Clause.

Sign me up for the East Tennessee rally! Trump will find himself in friendly territory here.

Ask not what your country can do for you, ask how many planes you’re willing to get on in support of your POTUS. If the answer is none:

I don’t really blame ya lol. For one thing I just watched a NatGeo plane crash episode, one I don’t remember hearing about that happened 2 weeks after 911 in NY. Combo of pilot error/training. The tail ripped off and the airbus landed in a neighborhood.

Oh, jeez, you had to use that line. I’ll go, I’ll go. :-)

But the plane thing is a leg room thing with me. I hate flying with my knees stuck under my chin, and I’m too cheap to pay for first class. Bring back the Pony Express!

Haven’t flown in years but heard how they pack people in these days. I remember the whole “to recline or not” debate online a few years back. Tall people were getting their legs pinned by reclining passengers and can’t use lap trays...I’m short but I wouldn’t want to deal with someone’s head in my lap or literally rubbing elbows with strangers for hours on end. Need meh personal space. Short flight wouldn’t be that big a deal I guess.
