As usual, the press censors the tragedy caused by the Muslim animals.
Oh yes, Italian beef smothered with hot peppers...actually every item at Portillo’s is oh so good. Every time I visit Phoenix, I never fail to drive down to Scottsdale and dine at Portillo’s there. It is as good as the Chicago joints, larger and organized well for fast service.
If you ever visit St Augustine, be sure to try Pizza Time on St George street. Only problem is they only take cash, and I am now part of the cashless society. So have to visit the bank first. Another favorite is Prohibition Kitchen, also on St George street.
Have to check it out someday!
The richest country in world, based on number of millionaires / population is Singapore. Every 6th citizen of Singapore is a millionaire. Guess what is the ethnic mix in Singapore? Chinese, Indians and Arabs make up 97% of population, with the British making up the rest. Goes to show you how intelligent capitalism works regardless where or by which ethnics.
Right....Canadian French is a bastardization of the pure Parisian French.
I learned the latter....and found it impossible to converse w/ Canadians in French.
I have traveled to 36+ countries (lost exact count) on 4 continent. In Singapore I felt the safest exploring the big city in late evenings. Drug dealers get death sentence by law. So there are no addicts looking to rob people on the street.
In my opinion the real secret behind their prosperity is complete lack of welfare to able bodied people of working age. There is no unemployment compensation, no food stamps, no free stuff. Unemployment is virtually non-existent. The tour guide explained to us, only people without jobs are those between switching jobs. As she said, if you do not work, you may not eat in Singapore.
I was very impressed particularly by their infra-structure. Airport, cruise terminal, underground highways, hospitals, etc are world class. Not to mention the great ethnic food.
Yes, people in Quebec and France both speak with that delightful French accent. With one difference, the people I came across in Montreal were fluent in English as well. In France, they avoid English like a plague. But the French Riviera is so great.
We will always have France so long as Alizee sings...
