To say that sodomy is constitutionally protected diminishes the the document. The founders would laugh at such nonsense.

The Episcopal church at that time did not champion abortion and sodomy.

Another Roberts is exactly my concern.

I’d like to know his views on the Heller, Obergefell, and ACA cases, as well as stare decisis.

Uh...do you think so?

Conservatives have been screaming about his involvement with this church for over a month and Trump cheerleaders just stick their fingers in their ears and say La La La i cant hear you!!! Fake News!!! He is the next Scalia!!! Trump can do no wrong!!!

And beloeve me I LOVE LOVE Trump but I have serious concerns with anyone that has anything to do with this kook church.

I would prefer a Scientologist

On the other hand his book on euthanasia has a pro life point of view.

Yes, you did give it.

I’m not denying that.

I’m simply saying that I’m not going to panic yet. I want to see how things play out before I start getting upset.

Oh dear.

All right, time to take a closer look at his judicial background and his former rulings.

I’m still not to the level of ‘worried,’ but I do find this rather annoying.

I thought that the Heritage Foundation said that he was their #1 choice? Are they just bad now, or what?

Wait til he’s on the court to see how he rules?

Kinda like pass it to see what’s in it?

The only record you’ll have of any Supreme Court nominee is their past record. Asking their opinion is not likely to draw out an answer that pinpoints how they’ll rule on a given case. And it shouldn’t. Other than adhering to the constitution, they shouldn’t answer any controversial questions.

I think it’s possible he converted to the Episcopal Church because his wife wanted him to. She is British and in the UK most of the elite belong to the Church of England (The Catholic Church is probably still viewed as “too Irish / too working-class”).

Judge Gorsuch probably doesn’t care about theology and the fact that the Episcopal Church is a liturgical church was enough for him.

Look, the way the dems are going, it’s going to take a LONG time before they even start considering him.

We have time to look into the man, especially his past rulings. This is one problem, but it does not mean that it is a disaster.

I’m not going to panic; panic makes us stupid.

“I thought that the Heritage Foundation said that he was their #1 choice? Are they just bad now, or what?”

They are rock solid. But we’ve all been fooled before. Rubio was a Tea Party favorite who went soft on immigration.

John Roberts seemed like a young Scalia. He caved on Obamacare, which everyone knew was unconstitutional.

Maybe NYT just realizes they aren’t going to get anyone liberal and should pick their battles since at least this nominee gets along with homosexuals socially.

Only time will tell at this point.

“Migrants and Mercy”

Immigrants are made in the image of God and migration is not a new phenomenon; it is as old as time.

* Come and immerse yourself in deepening your experience of migration.
* Sing & listen to Celtic music and chants
* Hear stories of peoples migrating over thousands of years
* Carry wooden figures to stations representing these migrations: Biblical, Celtic, Mexican, and Syrian
* Light candles to honor migrants
* Experience a blessed mercy
* Healing prayer and Communion
* Join us afterward for a “migrant” meal

You are invited. You are welcome and received as a friend. Come and find solace for your soul.

“STOP reading and believing the PRESS”

Well, I’m reading what was posted HERE. That’s the only way NYT reaches me.

You could be right. It might be a head fake. I’ve just really never seen the liberal media do that.

However, I can think of one reason NYT might do such a thing. They may do so in hopes of splitting Trump’s base of supporters. They know there is really nothing they can do to stop Trump from nominating a conservative, constitutional justice to the SC.
