Camille Paglia Denounces ‘Snide, Anti-Male, Feminist Rhetoric’ In Interview
Breitbart ^ | 15 Mar 2017 | ALLUM BOKHARI

Posted on 03/15/2017 11:58:14 AM PDT by beaversmom

In a comment that will no doubt outrage the feminist left, Paglia praised men for taking on the most dangerous jobs in society.

It is an absolute outrage how so many pampered, affluent, upper-middle-class professional women chronically spout snide anti-male feminist rhetoric, while they remain completely blind to the constant labor and sacrifices going on all around them as working-class men create and maintain the fabulous infrastructure that makes modern life possible in the Western world. Only a tiny number of women want to enter the trades where most of the nitty-gritty physical work is actually going on—plumbing, electricity, construction. Women have played virtually no role in the erection of those magnificent towers in every major city in the world. It’s men who operate the cranes or set the foundations or wash windows on the 85th floor. It’s men who troop out at 2:00 AM during an ice storm to restore power to neighborhoods where falling trees have brought down live wires. It’s men who mix the stinking, toxic cauldrons to spread steaming hot tar on city roofs. Last year in a nearby town, I drove by a huge, chaotic scene where emergency workers in hazmat suits were struggling with a giant pipe break, as raw sewage was pouring into the street. Of course all those workers up to their knees in a torrent of thick brown water were men! I’ve seen figures indicating that 92 per cent of people killed on the job are men—and it’s precisely because men are heroically doing most of the dangerous jobs in modern society.

Last night I was sitting on the sofa watching TV.

When I heard my wife’s voice from the kitchen ask...

“What would you like for dinner, my love? Chicken, Beef or Lamb?”

I said, “Thank you, dear, I think I’ll have chicken.”

She replied , “You’re having soup, butthole. I was talking to the cat.”

I guess some women do realize that alienating and insulting men might not be in their best interest. Imagine that...

Camile Paglia is a college professor of the Arts, is a long time liberal, very much in the classical sense, a lesbian, and one of the most well spoken and intellectually honest people you will ever read or hear.

I would have LOVED to take a class of hers in college.

Rush Limbaugh is a great admirer of Camile, and I am too.

If you get a chance to hear her, on CSPAN or YouTube, take the time to listen or watch. It's WELL worth the time.

no thanks, there are plenty of well spoken women who don’t commit the abomination of homosexuality that I listen to- and, they aren’t liberal to boot-

My trees weren’t quite that big, lol. I am amazed how they do logging today with the incredible machines they use, how in the hell, once cut did they get that ginormous tree, down the mountain to the mill?

It explains how they did it all back then in those docs linked. Pretty neat how our country was founded and formed.

my great grandfather went to canada to log- and rode the log rafts back to the US- Ever watched them moving the logs along a river? Wow! Much respect for those that worked that job- youtube has some fantastic videos of log runs— The runs were absolutely massive- they even diverted rivers and damned then released water to move the rafts log jams along-

I can’t even imagine how hard logging was back then with hand saws and axes- did some logging myself, but with chainsaw- and skidder- much different world today-

Without mature masculine males all civil cultures die. That is why the War on Boys has been the most vicious, dehumanizing thing we have been watching since 1930 in the USA (earlier in Europe). The whole education system was made into a dehumanizing, brain-destroying, prison factory of conditioning system—into “group (non) think”—to destroy agency (free will). (Product of Postmodernist sodomite Marxists who needed to flip Good and Evil for their “utopia” of Rites of Babylon (orgies with children)).

The system prevents maturity, fixates children into puerility and laziness and dependency so that they will be addicts and immoral for life. Vice creates slaves—and as Fichte and Wundt (who embedded psy-ops into curricula, knew—if you get children away from the mother/father paradigm early enough you can warp them and control them for life by embedding irrational desires and concepts into them. The Prussian System of “education” is only a brainwashing factory, which embeds unnatural artificial emotions all controlled by the pay-ops in the Billy Ayer’s sophisticated curricula (Common Core/NCLB/Goals 2000, etc).

The system prevents maturity (agency) because it doesn’t allow for individualism—thinking for self EVER-—kids are punished and conditioned and shamed if they “think” outside the “group” so they “learn” early not to think for self (which needs practice to be habit).

good post- that is exactly why they have gotten the camel’s nose of homosexuality into the boy scouts now- they couldn’t stand the fact that the boy scouts took a stand at one point against immorality- Sadly though the boy scouts caved-

Our schools now are, as you say, not education institutions, but more indoctrination institutions- It is absolutely sickening what is ‘taught’ in schools now-

I've read Camille Paglia for many, many years and have come to respect the fact that, whether you agree with her or not, she comes at things by defining the "core issue."

In this instance she performs with her usual worth.

I can say, I've grown to like and RESPECT her and her opinions very much.
