Finally got her in bed and lights out about an hour ago.

She’s had a bad couple days with her knees and was lamenting that it was really hard taking any steps. “Maybe I should stop taking the pills”.....we’ve been through this more than once. I give her 2 ibuprofen for inflammation and 2 glucosamine chondroitin, for whatever help it might give, both morning and night. Several times she has stopped taking them to “see if they work”. All headway is lost and we have to start again.

But tonight she said she had the best day in two weeks. Time to remind her that the pills are important, and that we do NOT want to find out how bad it could be without them.

When she can’t get up and take a few steps is when I have to have someone come in every day, which she doesn’t want, but can’t be helped.
