Stephen Lemons, of the Phoenix News Times, reported that about 40 or so assorted anarchists and members of various left wing groups gathered across the street from the state Capitol on Saturday in opposition to a pro-Trump rally openly armed to the proverbial teeth.

While it is not unusual that wanna-be para-military lefties should arrive at a pro-Trump rally with menacing faces, clenched fists, and nasty rhetoric, this is the first documented case that I’m aware of in the recent spate of protest, counter-protest movements that have swept this country, since the inauguration, that included a leftist group brandishing firearms.
There are those who might be tempted to make light of this, as it seems that in this case these gun-toting were simply taking themselves way to seriously.

Someone gave them one class to keep their fingers straight and off the trigger. Which means, they don’t really know what they are doing because of their stances.
Good to see our counterparts on the left exercising their right to bear arms.
When the shooting starts, as it inevitably will, we need to make sure to go after the ones bankrolling the anarchy. That will end it fast.
Doesn’t matter to them which side behaves irresponsibly with guns as long as they can attack 2nd Amendment.
And if presented with a masked, armed attacker, do you have clear, actionable right to active self-defense? If I am out with my kids and am threatened by a masked, armed attacker, I think self-defense applies. Do these idiots really want to test this?
And, as organized effort, when does this become terrorism and insurrection?

There is a difference between carrying and brandishing. These snowflakes are merely bearing arms - a protected, God-given right, as they would be wise to remember. There is no indication of an intent to intimidate, not when anyone looking at armed snowflakes would be at risk of laughing so hard they could be injured.

The bullet coming out of the gun has no idea a snowflake pulled the trigger. Neither does your chest. Or your head. Or your kneecap.
They may be snowflakes but that doesn’t mean they couldn’t kill a bunch of innocent people or cause chaos in a major city.
