Chelsea Clinton is not running for public office — right now.
In an interview with Variety, the daughter of a former president and presidential candidate said she's not thinking about running for a role in government.
"I am not running for public office," Clinton told the magazine.
The former first kid believes public service is important, but she doesn't see herself doing a better job than the people currently in office.
"I really am constantly surprised by the stories of me running for, fill in the blank — Congress, Senate, City Council, the presidency," Clinton said. "I really find this all rather hysterical, because I've been asked this question a lot throughout my life, and the answer has never changed."
"I love my City Councilwoman — she's awesome. I'm obsessed with Tish James, who is our public advocate in New York City. I support our mayor. I love my congresswoman. I love our senators. I clearly do not support the president and certainly hope that he is defeated in the next election, but I don't think I'm the best person for that job.

This is what it felt like in the middle ages with powerful families nepotistically foisting their inbred defective possibly insane offspring into various roles of ‘public service’.
Well, there’s three things you can count on when you wake up each day.
1. In 12 hours or so, the sun will set.
2. Every news program will feature a story on the Trump / Russia non-connection.
3. Chelsea Clinton will be promoted as the next great vagina-toting savior of the RAT party.
This vapid non-entity is getting interviews with Variety in which she playfully announces that she’s not running for office. In a sane world, no one would ask her that question. In a sane world, her parents would be bitching at her about getting a real job and how they are tired of carrying her useless ass and carrying her deadbeat husband too.
Ok Do you want to be Warden of Leavenworth? Maybe a prison guard?
If she’s a Clinton, she’s lying.
She is weaker than her mother in politics.
They should just cut to the chase and give her the Nobel Peace Prize already.
I guess since Obama had no qualifications or accomplishments, Chelsea imagines that being POTUS is a no-experience-required job. What can you say to that level of cluelessness? It’s incredible.
