It turns out that the media and the Democrats have been lying about it.
Trump needs to keep up the pressure. Those who illegally surveilled the Trump campaign, illegally leaked to the media and then lied about it need to be investigated, arrested and prosecuted.
This explains the hysterical reaction by uniparty-media axis to Trump’s wiretap tweets, they feared their crimes were going to be exposed.

Susan Rice, who served as the National Security Adviser under President Obama, has been identified as the official who requested unmasking of incoming Trump officials, Cernovich Media can exclusively report.
The White House Counsel’s office identified Rice as the person responsible for the unmasking after examining Rice’s document log requests. The reports Rice requested to see are kept under tightly-controlled conditions. Each person must log her name before being granted access to them.

“Unmasking” is the process of identifying individuals whose communications were caught in the dragnet of intelligence gathering. You can be sure that Obama, Valarie Jarrett, Susan Rice and others had a meeting about unmasking these calls. IMHO they all new about it including the likes of Evelyn Farkis.
So the surveillance began a year before the inauguration, this was before Trump was the GOP nominee. Which begs the question, how many of the other GOP candidates were being targeted for surveillance under the ruse of national security? This story has more legs to be sure...
