Yay for decent weather! Took long enough for it to get there.
Most of the day was nice here, though windy. Storms fired up late in the afternoon and we got caught by the outer edge of one. Tornados and straight-line winds ripped up areas not far from us though. We got lucky.
Dogwood Winter is moving in for the next couple of days. Highs in the 50s, lows in the 30s. BRRRRRRR!
Kittehs are extra bratty tonight, I guess because the wind’s blowing pretty hard. Always seems to wind them up.
Now to see if I can post this before the power blips again. Did it a minute ago and turned the computer off. sheesh!

Oh, crud! I was hoping maybe you’d escaped the really bad stuff! I only went out once to take a picture of the roses, and didn’t notice the irises. I’ll look at them tomorrow, unless it’s windy again. I try to stay out of that stuff!
There were tornadoes all around your area! Hope none of them came near y’all! Did you get any more rain?

The worst of it has been south of us and they’re still having a bad night in GA. But it was bad enough in several areas in TN this afternoon and evening. Lots of high winds, BIG hail, and a few tornado warnings. The closest was about 10 miles from us and we could see the ugly black clouds from here. They’re showing pix and videos on Nashville news right now.
We just had rain and wind here and a little lightning. I guess there’s an unhappy tree on the farm because one strike was here. The loud CRACK made all of us jump. LOL

Indeed, I just checked the eagle nest at Barry College in Rome, GA, and the wind is really rocking the cradle...er nest...tonight! I think it’s calm here. Not sure, but since Peaches is out, I’m NOT opening that door....except to let Ginger out if she decides to go.

The Berry nest has been rockin’ all day. Had a few storms roll over them earlier.
I have the Savannah cam up at the moment. It’s just raining there but there’s a LOT of lightning flashing close by. Poor Momma osprey doesn’t look happy. There’s absolutely no shelter above that nest nowadays.
We’re under a wind advisory all night. There are already some small tree limbs down and there’ll probably be a few more by morning.
NO! DON’T OPEN THE DOOR! LOL!

DON’T WORRY! LOL!
I checked the Savannah nest earlier and noted that it was windy. I’m just not in the mood to listen to it after yesterday!
I hope that if branches fall, they are little dead ones...then it’s like being pruned. :)

There isn’t much wind at Savannah tonight. Just the sound of the rain and thunder. I had to head over to Latvia for the birdsong because the rain was making me sleepy. LOL
I think most of the stuff that’s fallen is dead. Haven’t seen anything with leaves on it. But it still has to be picked up and carted to the burn pile, which has been a constant this spring. *sigh*

I got a new flag and pole because the wind put a 90 degree turn in the pole near the bracket. The new bracket is up, but the clips for the grommets on the flag are so stiff I will need my brother to get them on for me.

Then I’d better not check out Savannah. I’m sleepy in spite of a nice nap and might not get any shows watched!
I am getting no sound on the Latvian/Polish cams. I wondered, when I was on another tab, why I didn’t hear all the neat birds!

My day went pretty well....lots of little things “fixed”.
Tonight I have to get all my income tax together and drop it off.
Early bed didn’t work out very well last night, so I’ll try again tonight.

Hmmmmmmm, the audio problems with the cams must be on your end. I’ve had audio on all of them tonight. The birds are goin’ to town singing in the forest. Bummer you’ve been missing it.

You did have quite the day. Happy that Penny got some rough-housing time with her cousin. d:o)
Glad you got to practice some, and glad you kept the brace on as a reminder. How’s the after effect of using the wrist?
