WASHINGTON — White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer said Tuesday that Adolf Hitler "didn't even sink to using chemical weapons" — a comment at odds with Hitler's use of gas chambers to exterminate Jews during the Holocaust.
Spicer was attempting to discuss the horror of the chemical weapons attack last week in Syria, which the Trump administration is blaming on President Bashar Assad.
"We didn't use chemical weapons in World War II," said Spicer, adding that "someone as despicable as Hitler... didn't even sink to using chemical weapons."

Since that is true, why is the Times writing an article about it? Hitler was gassed in the trenches of World War I, which may have been one of the reasons he didn’t use that weapon when in control later.
Hitler brought you to the gas.

As an offensive weapon he’s correct. But the man is completely tone deaf not to understand that gassing millions of German and European Jews was a far greater crime that what Assad has done in his attacks on rebel areas. I honestly wonder if some of these people ever took high school history. Spicer seems too old to have been subjected to the Common Core curriculum.

he used them in the concentration camps and I think the only reason Hitler did not use chemical weapons is that Hitler was a nerve agent victim in the first world war. I think that is the only reason chemical weapons were not used out side the concentration camps.
