Another 35 precincts were just reported by Sedgwick County.

Thompson gained a handful of votes, still leading Estes by just over 4,000 in this county:

James A. Thompson ...... 34496 / 52%
Chris Rockhold ...... 1094 / 1%
Ron Estes ...... 30447 / 46%

Hard to see Thompson making up the 5,000 or so votes he is behind district-wide, with only 70 or so precincts left in Sedgwick, and 20 precincts in GOP leaning areas left to report (Greenwood’s 19 and Chatauqua’s 1).

Folks, winning elections takes more then just a good candidate. It takes a well funded, pro-active, strategic thinking, highly dedicated, driven dynamic team to gain victory. So...a serious heed needs to go to Ms. Ronna Romney McDaniel, the new chief at the RNC who already is a “Paul Ryan” asleep at the wheel. Thank God our great “Trumpster” folks brought home the bacon!!!

The Democrat “Obama” scum & vermin pulled their usual mantra, early voting....count the votes and then cheat with illegal votes to gain victory. For weeks the left low life have been preaching how they were going to beat this gent and the two others that follow him. Thank the Lord, the Trump train pulled into the station!!!

Ms. McDaniel...get your butt in gear....this, my darling, was not a stellar, knock-out performance......but it certainly was a great victory for Mr. Estes. McCain & Romney were terrible candidates. Congratulations Congressman, Estes!!!

What makes you think there are any Democrats in either Heaven or Purgatory?

Hey, it's fraud...

Sedgwick County coming in faster now; they just posted another 32 precincts, with 218 of 257 now in.

James A. Thompson ...... 37929 / 51%
Chris Rockhold ...... 1199 / 1%
Ron Estes ...... 34408 / 46%

“What makes you think there are any Democrats in either Heaven or Purgatory?”

Oh I doubt that there are many - its just that that’s how their votes get submitted.

The old joke - My father voted Republican his whole life, and Democrat ever since.

Trump wins by 30% in his district. He sleeps on it and the Dems spend millions and he wins by 6%. Better get serious as he is going back to the voters in a few months with a very poor start.

Yea, how much longer can Amarillo, San Angelo, Midland, Odessa, Lubbock, Tyler, and small, small towns continue to outvote Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Austin, El Paso, and the Lower Rio Grande?

The last county to be heard from, Greenwood, reports, and Estes cries “Eureka” as he carries this county 815 votes to 280 (73%).

Ron Estes (Republican) 51.9% 57,854

James Thompson (Democratic) 46.3% 51,547

90.3% Reporting, 111,393 Total Votes

Looks like Estes(R) is only going to win by twety-some hundred votes.

How so? What % of the precincts reporting are you seeing to base that on? Estes leads with 6300 votes with 90% reporting.

Estes now leads by 6,300 votes with only about 50 precincts out of 620 left to report, 57,854 to 51,547, 52-46.

Low turnout traditionally helps Republicans. So this is par for the course.

Don’t you just love nights like these when the Dems poured a lot of money and resources into a campaign - and lost?

I do. A lot.

You’d think the R will lose in the 2018 election?
