Neither of them actually believed in the Lord.

Their quests would also fail if they were directed against things that were upheld by robust direct faith in the Lord.

It turns out today those things are not. We are in a period of testing. Whether it’s “the great tribulation” I leave for worthier theologians to debate, but it is a significant one.

At any rate, those who gave up leaning on the institutions and leaned only on the Lord, will find themselves in the catbird seat now.

Kids aren't like this because of peer pressure....they do this because there are no boundaries today...anything goes...and that far beyond any resemblance to norm. Heck one boy decided he'd be a girl because he could not compete as the older brother to his younger sisters great success at a young age.....so what did he say when he finally got the lime light shining on himself for his sex change....Now I have as much popularity as my sister.

Gloom and doom Christians really get my goat, sir.

I’m talking about the most common Catholic attitude. Now if you have an uncommon one to offer, by all means do that. But the whole system is generally about institutions, and that’s why it falls into throes of lamentation when institutions suffer.

If it hadn’t been for the Protestants protesting, we’d all be going down this rabbit hole now, without anyone even standing defiant to it in the name of Jesus.
