WASHINGTON (AP) - at 12:15pm today President Trump disclosed that he has reached an agreement with Enrique Pena Nieto, President of Mexico, which provides for the sale of substantially all of the State of California to the country of Mexico. President Trump noted that this deal, which he claims "is his largest real estate deal ever" is a win-win for everyone involved. One of the benefits he says he will highlight during a prime time address from the oval office later this evening, will include using the proceeds received by the US from Mexico to 1) pay for the Wall (fulfilling yet another campaign promise), a wall which will now include the length of the eastern border of California, 2) fund all the infrastructure spending in the remaining 49 states and 3) pay to relocate the 67 Republicans that currently reside in California.
GOOD ONE!!!
Mexico is so screwed up, why not have Mexicans allow us to annex it into the United States?
I don’t think Mexico would pay that much just to repatriate so many of their runaway criminal citizenry.
Rather than 37 degrees North, I would go with 36 degrees 30 minutes. That would let us keep King's Canyon and Sequoia National Parks along with Mt. Whitney (just barely), as well as Fresno...so Free Republic would not have to relocate. Of course we would still have the Bay Area, but no solution is perfect.
Thanks, but just sayin'... ya think the Freepathons are something now, wait until we have to fund a re-location! :-)
does this mean my FR monthly will be going top an “offshore” account?
What is wrong with you? You would willingly let communists and racist La Raza terrorists steal away portions of you country? WTF?
As a kid, I remember bumper stickers that said, "Don't Californicate Washington" but it's too late now.
All there is to do now is lie back and smoke a joint.
And how soon can this ACTUALLY take place?!?!?
You are genuinely gifted. Please keep creating stuff of this quality!
Land mines.
Way cheaper than wall.
Tomorrow please!
Great song. Thanks!
I’ve spent my entire life living within a few miles of I-5 - from Seattle to north San Diego. It’s gorgeous here, generally good weather, and fertile with many farms still and has been an extraordinary benefit to this great country with access to the Pacific and other natural resources.
Why concede this? Our ancestors fought for this. You sound like a quitter...a sour one.
How much did Trump pay them to take it?
Many a true word spoken in jest.
Sodpoodle,
So who —is— the author?
Here’s the title & first part:

I’m not quitting. I want you to.
should turn a good profit as they paid the Calif. Natives 25 cents an acre for it back in the early 50s. How much is he going to sell it for now? ( I’m making appoint, I know this is satire but my portion is a reality. I got my share back then , I think it was around 300 dollars for my share of the state.
Most of you have no idea that this actually happened . yes it did.
California is already gone.Nobody is stealing it. Unless the USA is willing to drop all the federal welfare and money to the states for anything at all, California is a 95% liability and 5% open to question outside of the San Diego Navy base which should be retained a la Guantanamo. California needs to be disposed of so the country can become Venezuela a little slower and maybe I will miss it. Right now California is a magnet for the totalitarians and the new serf class. They need to be attached to Mexico, not the US. Outside of the USA the billionaires on the coast can support the state, or as much of it as they care to support.
