I LOVE my Korean Lilacs. They are small bushes and the smell is out of this world. Only problem the blooms don't last very long.

I, too, hate a messy house but not enough to toil constantly to keep it clean. Everybody seems to congregate here and the dirt gathers. I have two daughters that are fanatics about cleanliness to the point where nobody wants to visit. I don’t call that living-just existing when your house rules you and it is no longer a home. They are the same way about their landscaping-everything so manicured. I tell them that I live on a farm not some fancy suburb.

You can trust us to step into the breach. @JudicialWatch Sues SF Sheriff’s Department again Over Sanctuary Policy

All of this is good, and JW will probably (hopefully) win, but it will take a long time. In the meantime, nothing changes and the left succeeds in stopping/delaying the agenda. The left probably knows they won't win, they are just trying to delay the Trump agenda, and it is working. The criminals are winning. That is the problem.

The news reports it as Trump is beaten again, and when he wins or the court ruling is overturned, it is never reported because they are on to the new delay tactic.

I don’t know what is going on, but every youtube video I try to play today the screen turns green and nothing. I used to get this every once in awhile when trying to play them on facebook, but now even on freerepublic. Grrrrrr!

Absolutely. VP Pence is a very important part of this administration. He is working VERY hard but acts like he is having the time of his life.

The only headline out of this Tax Plan Briefing will be:

“Trump Eliminating AMT Will Save Himself Millions in Taxes”

yes, it gets morning shade and afternoon sun until 7 or so.

so watering in the mornings is better than evenings now?

You are so right.

The Left couldn’t care less about positive benefits to anyone else. If something helps the President even a little bit, it’s a bad thing.

I trim back some after they bloom, but these are dwarf/miniature. They grow 4-5 feet tall if let go.

Well, what is wrong with those girls! My mother was exactly like that. Very neurotic about her house cleaning. When my son and I went to visit her once, I took him to the local park. He asked if my mom had taken me there. I thought about it and thought no, she was always cleaning! I didn’t go until I could walk there myself.

So I vowed to never be like that. I probably carried it too far to the other extreme :-)

Oh my gosh, the poor guy. Are strokes and Parkinson’s related, or are they just two separate issues?

That’s funny, I can hear my husband say that when I read your words “I never asked you to”. I always figured he didn’t need to ask me, but who else would do the household chores?

That’s OK, because he takes care of the yard, which has grown to about an acre and a half. We took over part of the pasture for a garden and a barn, so now it needs trimming around at all. And he works on the cars. And if anything breaks I get to just hand it to him and he will fix it. No questions asked :-) he does all the things I have no clue how to do. Although I know he can cook and do laundry, I feel like I should at least do my part. Notice I didn’t mention cleaning the house?…

Now here’s my problem today. It is so beautiful out but I can’t see through my windows. The last time I tried to do windows I made it even worse. I just don’t have the knack. I’ve tried vinegar and water, newspapers, squeegees like you use on a car, Windex, outdoor Windex. The last time I did our big picture windows in the addition I was so proud of myself. And then afternoon came and the sun came through and they were nothing but streaks all over. Worse than before I started!

Well, it sounds delightful there. Are you by a river or pond?

Sorry about the loss of your kitty. I know mine are like family.

I make a mixture of 1/2 vinegar, 1/2 distilled water with 3 drops of Dawn dish soap in a plastic spray bottle. Works great on windows and mirrors.

I never had any luck cleaning with newspapers although I’ve heard that suggestion. Paper towels work best for me.
