Senators who were briefed at the White House on Wednesday about the situation with North Korea said they learned very little during the all-hands meeting with some claiming it lacked even straight answers about President Trumps ongoing plans.
There was very little, if anything new, Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) told The Washington Post.
I remain mystified about why the entire Senate had to be taken over to the White House rather than conducting it here, he said.
One Republican lawmaker, who chose to remain anonymous, claimed they werent updated on what the current policy was regarding the Hermit Kingdom nor the US militarys testing of intercontinental ballistic missiles that took place on Wednesday morning.
Several senators asked specifically, What is the policy? and the briefers gave us very, very few details, the senator said.

Gee... lemme guess... was his first name John or Lindsay? Or perhaps some other enemy of OUR PRESIDENT.
Then, of course, we have the usual lying RAT bastards.
In fairness, if its Blumenthal saying that he learned very little, he’s just too stupid to understand what was being said to him.
Would Michael Corleone tell 100 guys, any of whom could be traitors and who we KNOW are weasels, what he’s thinking?
Never.
Keeping Richard Blumenthal in the dark is always a good idea.
But there's no other way to say it....we are at war...and the Presidents first and biggest job is Commander in Chief.
He's being personal unless you get all your news via the newspaper like Obama.
That’s hysterical. As if Trump should trust Blumenthal, or any democrap - they are NOT in favor of doing anything that serves the good of our great country.
I was wondering when these clowns would start flapping their gums.
“”Keeping Richard Blumenthal in the dark is always a good idea.””
Keeping him SILENT is another good idea!!!

McCain is just pissed we aren’t going to WWIII tomorrow morning.
This was a test. It was designed to see if any information that was shared would be leaked to the press and therefore, who the leakers are who couldn’t be trusted with classified information.
Translation- They have nothing to blab and beat Trump over the head with.
So they will make up bullsh** instead.
Trump does not signal his national defense offence plans to the enemy.
Somehow Congress believes they are supposed to know everything...
**************
Congress wants to know everything but never does anything productive with the info it gets. It is just a bunch of blowhards who don’t want the responsibility of doing anything. The senate is nothing more than a debating society.
Maybe the location has something to do with the problem electronic surveillance. -or-
Wanting to give same info to all leakers at the same time.
Anyway this complaint comes from a stupid democrat so who cares if the little b*itch isn’t happy.
1. You were taken there as a sign of subserviance, you dolt, also because your facility ain’t secure.
2. If you “learned little” maybe you weren’t listening?
Most of these senators are learning disabled to begin with. The rest are so egotistical that, of course, they learned “very little” because they think they know it all already. It’s a huge waste of time to brief any of them.
Trump knows this! They will know, when we know what the specifics are. That will be after the action has been successfully undertaken, not before. Trump will Tweet us and not allow the mediots to tell us what he has said!
