North Korea now threatens to sink US Navy's nuclear-powered submarine USS Michigan
The Ohio-class submarine is stationed in the South Korean port of Busan.
North Korea has issued a fresh threat to sink the US Navy's nuclear-powered submarine which is currently stationed in the Korean peninsula waters. Pyongyang said the vessel would be turned into an "underwater ghost".
USS Michigan, armed with cruise missiles, arrived at the South Korean port of Busan on 25 April to take part in "routine" exercises. The Ohio-class submarine is being joined by a large fleet of the US Navy's warships led by the supercarrier USS Carl Vinson, raising the tensions on the volatile Korean peninsula.

That scenario has one outcome unless the captain is an absolute idiot. The sub stays out of range of the guns, and after emptying his magazines, steams back to get more ammo while the commander of the Nork arty picks up the pieces of his command.
It is time for the N Korean military to take the chunky punk out before they are all killed.
They do this because their nuclear capability is absolutely useless to them unless they can convince their adversaries that they're crazy enough to use it. Which, of course, they're not.

Kidding aside, please remember the USS Cole. I love chest thumping, but never say never.

I really would not mind at all if Trump responded this with something like:

NK cannot hit the ocean with a missile let alone a specific target.
This one is sitting in a harbor, and the Norks have armed minisubs and no hesitation about expending them. They have already demonstrated a willingness to sink South Korean ships and have gotten away with it.
If possible, the Michigan needs to get out to sea, where it near impossible to find.
It is good to keep in mind the differing circumstances. The USS Cole was conducting itself as in a visit to a friendly port and engaged in the mundane process of emptying their garbage, and hostilities were not expected.
When a country says to world media that it is going to sink your ship, your ship, crew, command, theater, government, and country are on high alert.
Very different circumstance.
Trump keeps pointing out how Nork is rubbing China’s nose in sht.
Where face is so important, the Chinese are certainly impatient.
They will need to act as Trump is not going away like the Libyan Muslim Coke Head Twink.
