“Regarding the climate movement, there are people who say, ‘God is in complete control of everything that happens, and if the Earth is getting warmer, then maybe God intends that,'” Gore said. “Well, no.”
“God intends for us to take responsibility for how we treat God’s creation, and if we choose to use the thin shell of atmosphere surrounding our planet as an open sewer for 110-million tons of global-warming pollution every day, the consequences are attributable to us,” Gore told Interview Thursday.
“And if you are a believer, as I am, I think God intends for us to open our eyes and take responsibility for the moral consequences of our actions,” Gore said.

I’m no climate scientist, like Al Gore, but in the morning, there is this big hot ball that comes up, and it gets hot? At night, the big orb goes away and it gets cooler. I’ve also observed that some times during the year, it is warm for months, and then snows around Christmas. I’m confused and guess I’ll have to go back to Divinity school

Oh, my! 110 million tons per day! That sounds terrible!
Well, since Al is talking tonnage here, I did a tonnage calculation. The weight of the atmosphere is estimated to be around 5 million billion tons.
So, taking Al’s pollution figure from above (and hoping my math is right), we are adding 0.08 % to the atmosphere, tonnage-wise, per CENTURY.
That assumes that all the “pollution” that goes up there stays up there. Which of course it doesn’t, as plants just love CO2.
