Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) is calling for Attorney General Jeff Sessions to be fired, comments that come on the eve of his testimony to the Senate Intelligence Committee.
"He needs to be fired. He needs to be taken out of that job," Warren told “The Axe Files,” a joint podcast between CNN and the University of Chicago Institute of Politics that is hosted by Democratic strategist David Axelrod.
Warren cited Sessions's acknowledgment earlier this year that he had two meetings with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak that he failed to disclose when testifying under oath.
"If you're not going to be honest during your confirmation hearing, then you ought to be gone,” Warren said.

The meetings, really one meeting in his office with several staff members present—the other was at the Rep Convention cocktail party and consisted of a handshake and brief exchange of courtesies, were not connected to the campaign, which was the context of the Franken question.

Yup. While the leftaards have been focusing on Russia, the Senate Parliamentarian said Obamcare can be repealed with a simple majority vote. It wasnt in the news because Russia was.
This is actually a good strategy for future GOPers. Create a fake scandal, distract the left and pass conservative legislation.

If the administration does not buckle to intimidation, but instead tacks a couple of leftist scalps on the wall, there will be a sea change in DC - in favor of the Trump administration. DC is a town where a lot of bumper stickers get put on cars after the election, as folks try to latch on to the winner.
